Since Rick was a subcontractor on our remodel, we weren't in contact with him as often as we would have been for a standalone electrical job. But we did meet him twice in person on the job, exchanged some emails and texts about job details, and had at least one phone conversation about some adjustments to the electrical work. In all all communication, Rick gave us clear and useful information based on both CA code and his own experience. His guidance about our lighting choices was especially helpful, since we weren't very familiar with all the high-efficiency lighting options (this being our first CA home). Now that we're living in the house and have completed our post-remodel inspection, we can say that we have no complaints about Rick's work, and we're most likely going to contact him again if we need more electrical work done in the future.
Description of Work: Rick was the electrical subcontractor for our house remodel. He fully rewired our small (800 sq. ft.) house, replacing two-wire circuits throughout with three-wire, adding more circuits to meet code, installing a new sub panel, installing all new lighting, and adding several new outlets.

After my initial contact with Rick, his follow up was almost immediate. He scheduled an appointment to look at the work to be completed and was punctual and professional. He had many great lighting ideas and suggestions, and I was glad that he could give me suggestions for my kitchen. Again, he arrived on time to start the work when he said he would. He worked nonstop until the job was completed. He had to cut a new hole in the ceiling for my dining room chandelier and did so without getting dry wall dust over everything. He dropped wires down through the wall for the cabinet lighting, and removed my very old exisitng lights from my kitchen ceiling and installed 4 new can lights. All the work was done well and in a very efficient, professional and timely manner. The job took about 7 hours to complete, and as I said, he worked the entire time he was here.
Description of Work: Rick Rugh of Moonlight Electric completed the following services in my home: Relocated and rewired the electrical wiring from the old dining room chandelier, to a new chandelier and ceiling location, and wired, and installed the chandelier over my dining room table. He was especially neat and efficient. He came prepared to cut new holes and rewire and did so without getting dry wall and dust everywhere. Removed old ceiling lights from the kitchen and rewired and installed can lights with new wall switches. He also installed and wired under-the-cabinet lighting in the kitchen.
