Michael Greenstein and his team painted our house 3 months ago and did a fantastic job. The job started at the beginning of the COVID quarantine and Nazario and Alex we very professional throughout their time spent on this project . They took 2/3 days prepping the house by doing stucco repair/retexturing , filling the dry rot/termite damage, and power washing the house. They painted the house, garage doors, front door, and the exterior wood fence and gates. They left the house and yard were spotless. We couldn’t be happier. Jay and I received several quotes and Michael was very reasonable. He was referred by a friend who was very happy with the work and we have since referred Greenstein Painting to someone else who was also extremely pleased with the work.

There is no communicating. He has a five year warranty which states that the customer does not pay until they are happy but we ended up paying in full as soon as the job was completed. We caught him replacing our siding with cheap wood that was not the same wood that was specified to match ours. We informed him to replace it with the correct wood. He threatened to take us to court and then stated he did not want to fight with us. He then put up the correct wood but did not apply the caulking correctly. Sherman Williams came out because we informed them that the initial caulking began to crack open throughout the entire house within 3 weeks. They tried to give us paint and other supplies to help fix the problem. Michael Greenstein stated that he would never be able to make us happy and offered us $1000.00 but we declined. Sherman Williams took 3 weeks to have the sample of the caulking sent to the lab to figure out where the problem came from. We were informed that he did not apply the product correctly which they called an application failure in their official lab report. His workers are also not documented which is very serious. We are going to pursue all legal remedies available to us.

They were very good. It took four days to complete the job. They left the area clean. They were very helpful in picking out the colors and they came out and gave me several collections. They told me what they like and what they don't and mixed the colors and made it a little lighter.

Mr. Greenstein came out to look at the job and discuss the work. The house had visual termite damage to the eves and facia and some stucco damage. One of the reasons I choose Greenstein Resources was that they included wood repair in their advertising, and had a Contractors Class B license which gave me a sense of comfort that they knew how to to the repairs correclty. Mr Greenstein explained how he would do the repairs and that the repair work would be a significant portion of the total cost in my case. He then described how they would prep and paint the house. He said they would help choose colors and actually spot paint with the colors to be sure they appeared as expeced on the house, not just in the samples at the paint store.
After agreeing to the proposal, we scheduled the job. Juan and his team showed up at the appointed time. They started preping by power washing the entire exterior, clearing around the foundation, moving some fencing pieces for a clear work area, and listening to my concerns and wishes. The surfaces were prepared by sanding, patching, caulking, replacing the damaged wood, and priming new wood and trouble spots. This took several days. Finally they put on the test colors and we all approved of my wife's selections. They started by masking off areas that should not be painted and then applied the paint using spray guns, rollers and brushes. These guys are great - they pay attention to all the details, paint straight edges, know how to paint the various surface types and protected the surfaces that should not be painted such as the patio cover, concrete and plants.
After about a week, they were done, and cleaned up and restored my fencing to its original locations.
They were courteous, professional, and did all I expected for an outstanding job from the bottom of the foundation to the top of the facia at the roof line. The house looks great!

They did a fabulous job when they did the work. But their follow up has been less than perfect. They did a great job. They were on time, good workers, good people. It's just that they are good doing the work but when it comes to follow up, they guarantee their work for five years, but to get them back for follow up is less than perfect. The windows and doors that are exposed to the weather, they need touch up again. It's a good company. I don't want to say anything bad. They are a great company. I would use them again. Just know that you are not going to get a five year guarantee on their work.

They were very professional! We thought that they included painting our pergola over our spa in the price but when we looked closer it wasn't. However, they painted the hard part of the pergola at no charge to us and we are very happy! We also upgraded to have our garage door painted in a faux wood to maych our new front door and it looks really nice and was well worth the extra cost. Thank you Greenstein painting for the wonderful job!!
