First American Pools

The stairs started crumbling off after a month or so as well as the pool ledge. Within a couple of months, the paint on the stairs started to bubble up and peel. I contacted the owner to see if he would come out to see the pool, as I wanted to see if it could be fixed without the expense of draining the whole pool again. He was short and said he did not guarantee his work and that sometimes it works out and sometimes it doesn't and there was nothing he would do about it. Also, since he "replaced my filters and my manifold" I always have white powder to vacuum up on the pool floor. I have consulted a reputable company and was told it needed to be redone. He also lists his name as Pools and appears to have changed it at least once. It is very hard to find anyone listed as "1st American Pools." I only found him again because I had his estimate/invoice. It was a complete waste of all that money. I should have just had my 9 year old nephew paint the pool. It would have cost less and he would have done a better job. BE CAREFUL DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY WITH THIS BUSINESS.
