Finest City Tile and Stone was founded by Ron Fernandez. As a third generation San Diegan, Ron, his wife, and two children enjoy living in Encinitas, surfing, playing at the beach, and weekends in the desert with family and friends. Over Thirty years ago Ron was attending college, during a semester break he starting selling tile, shortly after that he became a helper, an apprentice and finally a Journeyman. After many years of tackling the most difficult task Ron has become a master craftsman in his trade and, has earned the respect of his peers and competitors for knowing his trade inside and out. As Ron was climbing the ranks he worked for some of the largest companies in San Diego, working on every type of project imaginable. Ron has worked in some of the most beautiful custom homes, as well as track home projects, run work in high rises as a foreman, and worked on commercial projects. This broad range of experience has given Ron the opportunity to tackle with confidence any challenging installation that may present itself. In fact, he has built a reputation for taking on the tough projects that most would run from. Ron holds all of his employees to the highest of standards. They are trained to be efficient, quality installers, in this he expects that they will mirror the pride Ron has for this craft.
