My daughter is a high school senior who is preparing her college audition tape for music school. We have a very nice piano that went out of tune may be due to the hot and humid weather. She need the piano tuned right away in order to record her audition pieces to meet the deadline. Deborah came in no time to get our piano tuned and fixed a few other issues with our piano which made my daughter piano playing so much more enjoyable. When we notice some unusual noise from our piano we called Deborah again and she came the same day to help us solved that misterious problem at no extra charge. She is very knowledgable and honest. This is the second time we used her service and I will tell you she is the one we will use for the future. My daughter has been playing piano for ten years and we have used quite a few piano runners. We are so happy with Deborah's service and are so grateful for our piano teacher who recommended her to us. I would say she is the best piano tuner we have ever used. I wish we had her earlier. We have learned a lot from her and was very impressed by her promt response and professional service. She does the right thing and will not compromise anything for her convenience. Her fees are very reasonable considering the quality and reliable service we received . I highly recommend her to any one who is looking for a good piano tuner who really know what she is doing . You can trust her for the best service.

She actually arrived early which was even better since she need the time to work on this beast. She thoroughly cleaned it and then spent the next 3 hours tuning it and actually turned it into a musical instrument again. For the work she put into it, the $185 fee was a bargain. My wife is very pleased and has been playing every day since.

.Debbie was great. She did a very nice job on my piano and was friendly and professional. My piano hadn't been tuned in over 10 years, so when I spoke with Debbie on the phone she told me it would first need a pitch raise and then a tuning about 3 months later. After finishing her work, she told me that it was in good enough shape that I probably wouldn't need the tuning for 7 months or so. How refreshing to have a provider not recommend additional services at the earliest possible time! She even offered to give me a reminder call down the road. Debbie did very nice work and was a pleasure to deal with.

It went great!

I have an old piano that my son's Godmother gave him some time ago. I didn't really know what to do with it. We it moved it twice before we finally got it tuned. I didn't know what to expect. Debbie gave me an estimate on the phone but I wasn't sure what condition the piano was truly in.
Debbie arrived with a smile on her face and I instantly liked her. She happily greeted the family members that were there and then got to work. She worked carefully for hours. During this time she received occasional visits (read: interruptions) from my son and niece and received them with a smile and kind words. During her time evaluating the piano she identified a problem with the pin block. Before her visit I didn't even know what that was. Anyhow, she offered a fix that should last a few years which is perfect as my son is only 5 years old and we have yet to see what role this piano will play in our family's life. The piano is now working nicely and the kids are having great fun. She will be back to re-tune it and perform the fix in a couple of months. I am keeping a couple of her business cards along with the music books in the piano bench. I am a newbie and was a bit nervous about the whole thing but I am thrilled with her work, her explanations, and recommend her highly.
By the way....her telephone estimate was spot on.

It had been about 6 years since my last tuning and two moves of the piano so it was quite out of tune. Debbie had given me a quote on the phone based on this fact as to how long she thought it would take to tune it as well as the cost. She arrived on time and immediately got to work. She communicated the process to me throughout the tuning and the cost ended up being the exact amount quoted. She also gave me tips on how to maintain the piano moving forward. Very easy transaction. Will definitely use her again.

iWe purchased a used piano that had not been cared for in many years. A mouse had actually been living in the piano. The mouse ran away and Ms. La Roi came to clean and tune that piano. She was knowledgeable, professional, and passionate about her work. We were the beneficiaries of her care, because now our piano sounds great.

She arrived at about the time she said she would, and spent a solid 2.5 hours working on the piano. She cleaned the soundboard, vacuumed and dusted. And then set about using her equipment to tune the notes. After she left, I noticed a faint vibrating sound when I played a few of the keys. So I called her and she returned the following day and spent over an hour using a combination of special tools to fix the problem. She was patient and thorough and professional. She went beyond the call of duty, bringing a special device to lift the piano and straighten out the wheels because the movers hadn't done so. Plus she was able to give her insight on how much the piano was worth. We'll definitely be using her services again.
