California Coatings Painting Company, Inc. is a single person company owned by Eric Christensen. He is a very slow and methodical painter so a time and materials contract is not recommended. He works 9 am -4 pm and will work 1/2 days on Saturday. Given the long painting schedule, you will have ladders and other equipment on site for nearly 2 months; 4,000 s.f. house exterior with many, many pane windows. If you have 1 bay in your garage available, that would be best. I suggest a very detailed Scope of Work and face to face building inspection BEFORE the project is bid and the fixed bid contract is signed. He has several 3rd party vendors that he relys on for carpentry and other tasks, they are 1st class, reasonably priced and fast. His post contract cleanup was excellent.

Easy to work with. Quality work. On time, and able to complete our project on short notice. I have hired and worked with numerous contractors over the years. Eric was great, did excellent work, and was able to complete the project quickly, which was really important. He was responsive to communication and able to work with our schedule. Excellent. I would use again next time , and recommend for anyone else looking for reliable painters.

Painting two bathrooms can be very tedious but Eric was meticulous about making sure tiles and bathroom fixtures remained pristine. He is very neat and professional. I would recommend him to anyone looking for a fabulous finished project.
