BTD CONSTRUCTION

We have used BTD construction more than once, but the latest was a partial remodel of our downstairs bath. There was no pressure to do more than we needed/wanted. The floor tile installation is beautiful. They helped us choose a grout color that looks sophisticated and makes the tiles look fancier. They also suggested and beautifully installed a tile baseboard to go with them, which I didn't know existed and which looks great. The shower door is more high-quality and attractive than you'd get at a big-box store and the price was very reasonable. The team was easy to work with, well-run and efficient. we will definitely continue to use them.

I needed to replace the windows in a custom home that was about 80 years old--the existing windows were the original ones. For a number of reasons, I knew that this would not be the typical simple retrofit. It would require a contractor who could formulate a plan that would address various special issues--age of the home, odd size windows, old construction techniques, need to preserve the and quot;charmand quot; of the structure, etc.--and then carry it out. I was looking for someone that would take care to do a good job and do it on time and within the estimated cost.
BTD construction met all of my requirements. They assessed the situation, offered several approaches, and took the time to visit the jobsite several times prior to ordering the windows and starting work to ensure that potential problems would be avoided. They provided me with informed advice on things that should be changed from the original window design and things that should be left the same. This related to both practical considerations and aesthetics. I had numerous questions--two typewritten pages of them--and they answered all of them.
Once a schedule was established, the work was completed according to that schedule. They showed up as planned and completed the work as planned.
The new windows look and function great. I am particularly pleased that they were able to match the interior wood finish on the new windows with the existing interior woodwork.

Ben did a great job. He was referred to me from one of his past clients. He turned our dining room into a baby room and hung some french doors. Although the job was minor, it was done well. I referred him to some friends of ours and he did a great job for them as well. Ben is an owner operator and a construction guy so he's straight up and tells it how it is, which some may consider as being unprofessional, but his work is as professional as it gets.

We had a remodel of our downstairs that was necessitated by a leak and the water remediation that followed (another provider). BTD came to our rescue. We were very happy with all of the services and the professional coordination and organization. We absolutely love our beautiful hardwood floors. All of the workmanship is amazing.

Recently, I decided upon a kitchen remodeling project that had some unique requirements, including an indoor/outdoor granite counter and serving area. I tried to work directly with individual craftspeople, but no one seemed to understand my concept to my satisfaction. Upon the recommendation of a friend, I hired BTD Construction as my contractor. Ben arrived promptly at the agreed upon time, and completely understood my concept for the project. His bid was timely, professional, and very reasonable. I left the project to Ben along with my cell phone number, and went away on a business trip. Ben called me a couple of times with questions to ensure that the job was performed to my specifications. When I returned, I was amazed at the beauty and workmanship of my new kitchen extension, as well as the installation of my new attic stairs and recessed lighting. The project was completed to specifications, on time and within budget.
