Terribly. Luis and IDE (Innovative Designs Engineering) is a fraud. Consumers beware. Ask for a license number and check with contractor state license board before doing any work with contractors. Luis and this business already has a one star review from someone else who was also ripped off five months ago.After meeting with us on Jan 22, Luis said he would provide drawings on Jan 29. After he missed that deadline, we called and he said he would get structural drawings to us by Jan 28, then Feb 4. We gave him a hard deadline of Feb 5. On Feb 7, we spoke with Luis and he said he had emailed the drawings. We asked him to check his email on the spot. He said he couldn't find them on his phone and he would resend within two hours from his office. Luis did not deliver. On Feb 7, we asked for a refund of $300. He ghosted us.

Consumers beware! After paying $500 as an initial payment, Luis did not deliver. He agreed to provide structural drawings and missed several deadlines that he set. He never followed up and we had to chase him down for updates. Two weeks of repeated delays later, we asked for a refund. He said he would honor that but, just as he didn?t deliver any drawings, he also didn?t give us any money back. Luis and this business already has a one star review in Yelp from someone else who had a similar experience that we wish we had seen earlier. Be sure to check the contractor state license board before working with anyone. While this business? license is current, the fine print says to call for details on any complaints.
