 + -1 moreAfter being stood up by two different landscapers I had a friend recommend Heathen Gardens. I called Tom and he came over for an estimate the same day. He was very easy going and friendly. He is also a native English speaker which is nice. He gave a very fair estimate and then completed the work in a timely manner. He has been great to work with - very professional and clearly demonstrates integrity and pride in his work.
Description of Work: Our front yard had not been touched in over 2 years, so it was completely overgrown and a mess. Tom pulled up all of the weeds and trimmed all of the plants and put in mulch so that the result was that the yard looked great. Because the plants were overgrown I was concerned that they would need to be cut back so much that they would look terrible, but Tom was able to do it and still have them look nice. We had roses, birds of paradise, ferns, Mexican sage, camilia, passion vines, and others. We were so happy with his initial work that we had him come back and do our side yard - he cleared the ground and put in new plant beds with native and drought tolerant plants. He also tried to use materials that were already in the yard in order to keep expenses to a minimum. He is going to work on the back yard next. His work is very tasteful and he is clearly knowledgeable about different plants.
