+ -1 moreRebecca's design sense, green aesthetics and architectural knowledge made the complete makeover of our first floor a smooth and almost painless exercise. Her recommendations for contractors and her ability to interface with them flawlessly resulted in a happy project from start to finish. She took a bland, even ugly, 70's tract house and made it into a welcoming haven for our family. She managed to design us a new home without expanding the footprint, but by utilizing the existing space to its maximum. There is storage everywhere, the traffic patterns make sense and entertaining has become a delight instead of the nightmare it used to be. Her time was the best money we spent on this project: it guaranteed success.
Description of Work: Plan, Design and implement remodel of 1974 suburban tract house. The construction costs were $160,000 so the planning and design cost was less than 10% of the project. Well worth the money. And, I would not recommend anyone tackling a major home upgrade without architectural services.
