Tracey was unprofessional from the very beginning. When my realtor first contacted her, she began giving us a sob story about her client right off the bat. I understand that her client was going through a hard time, but so were we. There were several times that her client came to her frantically which we were too. Tracey seemed to exacerbate the situation and was more than ready on several occasions to send out cancellation documents late in the sale. Rather than work things out, she immediately shut down communication and was eager to send the cancellation papers. Right before her clients moved out, they allowed their dogs to pee all over the family room and on the base boards. There were over six square feet of solid urine stains that were still wet when we took possession a week later. We called Tracey to just make her aware of the situation and her reply was essentially that it wasn't her problem because the house was ours. We didn't expect them to compensate us, we just felt that it was something she should be aware of. Rather than being constructive, she was defensive and had clearly washed her hands of this transaction the second it was over; while this is our first house, our realtor has still been helping us while Tracey had a 'not my problem' attitude. Our realtor pointed out how she instructs her clients to leave the house in good condition and not to do any damage. Obviously Tracey doesn't follow the same method. Yes, Tracey was the realtor for the person who sold us the house, but she should have been looking out for us the way our realtor looked out for her.
