Directv service was initiated as promised. Installer was two hours late. Installer incorrectly installed router box causing home service to be interrupted and Directv service would not function. He left before it could be tested saying it would take 24 hours to initialize. Provider was called and emailed several times without response over the course of two weeks. I subsequently worked with Directv's technical department and we determined that the router had been incorrectly installed with an extra cable that caused the problem. It was not so much the technical problem that irritated me, it was the complete non-response of Edward Delabar, owner of Total Dish Network.
Description of Work: Provider was found through a stand at a county fair advertising Dish and Directv satellite systems. He advised he could provide Directv and disconnect our current Dish service and install the Directv components including the router to allow on-demand products. His helper did install the Directv Network equipment but left the Dish components which had to be mailed back.
