Never recieved a call back or anything from you guys after dozens Here is the original Yelp review, feel free to see it on yelp plus updates: Elk grove ford is a lovely place to buy a car but thats as far as the good extends. Im not one to write reviews but i dont know what else to do at this point. I have filed complaints with local agencys as well as corporate and havent had as much as a contact email from anyone. I purchased my car in 2017 and have had many many issues most of which have stemmed from neglegence in the service dept. My car has had 3 engines and 3 transmissions since purchase 31000 miles ago and most of the issues have been caused by the service dept. The first engine took well over a month to install when i was told 2 weeks and i never recieved updates untill it was finished even though i had called multiple times a week. I only got transfered to voicemail but never recieved a call back. I drove the car off the lot upon picking it up after the engine only to make it 3 miles and have a line blow off and tow the car back. 3 days later it was ready again. Then comes the first transmission. It goes out and im quoted a week to fix it. It takes weeks with no call as to the status untill i had begun calling 2 times per day. Upon driving off the lot i noticed a loud noise and immediately called back to see if they could look at the issue and was instructed by the service writer that the trans just needed to be broken in and it should smooth out. After a couple weeks it was shifting poorly and the car was nearly undriveable so i called to make an appointment to have it looked at. Upon having the car looked at the service writer informs me that there is no fluid in the transmission and it would need to be replaced again. I asked for a loaner and was denied so i rented a car for the repair time which took over a week. Once again no updates untill i started calling 2 times a day to find out. Fast foward to picking up the car and i make it 10 miles up the freeway untill the crash plate which was not attached securely flys off and causes a car wreck. I assume that the dealer covered all the damages because it never hit my insurance. It took over a month and a half for them to order my crash plate only for them to offer me one off a similar car because they only ordered one of the 3 that came off. 2 weeks later they put on another. Fast foward to the next engine which was within the last couple months and more of the same. I was underquoted on the repair time and started calling 2 times a day only to finally reach someone weeks later and find out that my car had been done for a week but the service writer was sick and forgot to let me know. Theres another unnecessary rental bill lucky me. I pick up the car and sure enough a couple weeks later the brakes go out and and there is fluid under the hood melting my paint. I take it back to elk grove ford on a tow truck and the do a "full inspection on the brakes" free of charge and tell me there are no leaks thus exempting them from having to pay the damages for the fluid that leaked after they worked on it last. So now here i am with another repair bill to fix damages and be without my only car because of **** poor service from the worst service department i have ever encountered in my entire life. Side note, the auto populated reponse on yelp offering to assit is fake. Ive called over and over for a year and still havent had anyone reach out

The car is 5 years old and it needs an service so we take it in every February. That car has also had a recalls on it which isn't Elk Grove Ford's fault but there has been a lot of recalls.

As I was driving on the freeway I noticed my ABS light came on. By doing some checking found out that the wheel sensor might be the problem. I called and made an appointment few days later to have a diagnostic check. They called me after the check and informed me that it was the sensor and would have to be replaced. After telling me the amount I agreed even though I thought it might have been a little high but at that point was in no position to search around for a better price. I left car with a very professional service manager named Cruz and she kept informed me to what was going on. She did tell me that the part wouldn't be in until the next morning and the car would be ready by afternoon. The car was ready as promised and since then I have had no further problems with the sensor so was quite pleased regarding the work.

I am at Elk Grove Ford in the Quick Lane area for an oil change and alignment. I have to say I was actually surprised and pleased when they said let us check your alignment before we just perform the work. They did and said it wasnt needed. So they are doing an oil change, with my oil and filter, plus a rotation for just around $20. Super A++ to them.

They offer good service. It's pretty easy to get vehicles into them. They offer pick-up and drop-off service, which is convenient.

I was really happy with them. They're really nice people and they're professional. The price is outstanding. They're good people to deal with. They gave me a really good price for the oil change. The people worked fast. I was in and out.

Ford F150 4X4 broke down on the road near Grass Valley while we were hauling horses. Was towed to a local place up there and they eventually narrowed the problem down to the 4X4 system and disconnected it so we could safely get back home (Herald). Made an appt with Elk Grove Ford and they got us in promptly. It took about 2 and a half days of diagnostics to figure out the problem and get it fixed. Good thing was they did not charge anything extra for the extra time spent diagnosing, as that was all rolled into the one-time initial fee. They did a good job getting to the root of the problem and solved it, even though it is a and quot;very complex systemand quot; (their words).
When I took it in I also told them I needed to get the windows fixed, as they would roll down OK, but were very hard to get back up, the passenger front window in particular. They diagnosed that as the main switch on the driver's side as needing replaced. I again asked whether that would take care of ALL the windows? and he assured me it would.
When I go the truck home (main problem fixed) I saw that the windows still were not all working properly, so I had to make another appt. and take it back in. Not real happy to spend another day on this problem.
They did not charge me that diagnostics fee again, so it was just the cost of parts and labor for an additional part for that specific window, which I felt was fair.
They had a very convenient shuttle service that took me back and forth from home so I didn't have to sit and wait for it. They also washed the outside of the truck for me (nice!). The gentleman in charge of my service was Brian (Asano?) and he was very professional and respectful and fair. He apologized for the inconvenience of having to do the windows twice, which I appreciated.
I will definitely go there again.

I like the service over there. They are very good. They are very fast. They tell you when the job will be done at a specific time and it will be done before that time. They are a very good dealership here in our area. I would recommend them to anybody who has a Ford. I don't think they do just about any vehicle. Their punctuality is very good. I would use their services again in the future.

MY OVERALL EXPERIENCE WAS EXCELLENT. THEY WERE VERY PROFESSIONAL AT ALL TIMES. GOT THE WORK DONE IN A TIMELY MATTER EVEN THOUGH THEY WERE VERY BUSY THAT DAY.
