Replace water damage wood siding with Hardy-Board siding. Mike was prompted and very thorough. Work was completed on time. We had 3 different contractor bid the job, and Mike knew how to fix the problem immediately, where the others were unsure. Definitely recommend his outfit! Frank Roepke

Mike Garcia is the most honest and accurate contractor with whom I have ever worked. He recently was the contractor for a remodel of my house. Before any of the work began, he reviewed with me exactly what I wanted to have done, what materials would be required, who would do the work, when it would be completed, and the estimatedcost of the project, which was very reasonable. The project began when Mike himself came over and removed a built in display caseand prepared the area to be covered in dry wall. Mike was at my home everyday at least twice a day to check on the workers and their work. The completed work was within a few days of Mike's estimated timeline and I believe it is of the highest quality. This was the smoothest remodeling project in which I have been involved. The project was done on time and was very close to his original estimate. He is a man of his word and it was a pleasure to work with him. I highly recommend him.

Based on a previous excellent project in 2005 (MAJOR home remodel after 20 years, $250,000 worth of work), we again called on Michael Garcia of CMC Company to install a replacement water filter and new tankless water heater. The project was a complete success, in our eyes. As he had done in our previous experience, Michael's professionalism left no question unanswered; the project commenced and ended on time and within budget; and it was simply a joy and pleasure to work with this professional. Michael is honest and straightforward, almost to a fault. His experience really shows through when he explains the bases for his estimates and projections. Unlike many novices or newer contractors, Michael seems to know most of the traps and pitfalls that could derail a remodel project, and his numbers and actions during the project reflect that high level of care and thoughtfulness. Michael also seems to know who the 'good' and 'bad' subcontractors are, and he realizes that the work of his subs is ultimately HIS responsibility. Not only were the subcontractors of a high professional quality, but they all cleaned up the work site every day (unlike some contractors, who ask if you're 'paying me to work or clean up?'). If you appreciate a down-to-earth, intelligent, straightforward, neat-freak contractor who's able to communicate effectively, who will stand behind his work 110%, who has a great sense of humor, and who's honestly, genuinely in it to please his clients, CMC is your contractor.

Michael is very approachable, will listen to what you want done and offers suggestions on ways to save time, materials and money. Once you write a contract with him he is very aware of the budget and lets you know where you are at all times within that budget. He monitors all of the work that his subcontractors do and makes sure the work is done to his specifications. If something isn't done right, he has the subcontractors re-do it until it is done correctly. He is flexible and is willing to work with any change requests that you might have. There were no surprises when working with Michael.
