Amanda's not the worst in this sharky sea of mortgage people, but there were still a lot of hidden things, things explained differently each time, fees/add ons, etc. In the end it did work out for the most part, but it cost us much more than it should have. She did give us a and quot;creditand quot; (kept changing the explanation for why we were getting it) b/c I think she realized she gone too far with the fees and extra costs due to delays there were never on our end/our fault. But overall we did get it done and it was timely, I just wouldn't work with them again as it should NOT have cost that much. However, to be fair we've had issues refinancing in the past, so we were at least happy to get locked in with a decent rate (got higher twice during the course of the process, even though we were assured it wouldn't and was and quot;lockedand quot;) to a new 30-year mortgage.

I contacted Amanda Rawls after reading reviews on Angies List that mentioned her and the quality service she gave to clients. Amanda walked me through every step of doing a refinance through a HARP loan program. She went more than the extra mile and got me a rate below 4%, when rates were hovering above 4%, and I ended up saving $274 a month on my mortgage payments. She always had a smile, even with my million questions, and was always available to answer my questions. She led me through every step - I would use her again without hesitation and have recommended her to anyone who mentions they are thinking about refinancing.
