Matt Wilson and his crew did high-quality work at a reasonable price. He is busy, so it's sometimes slow for him to get around to the work, but once it was scheduled, he and his crew showed up at the promised time and completely the work efficiently and carefully.

They did a lot of work and I am happy with their services.

Matt and his small crew were very prompt to respond and worked in a timely fashion, at a reasonable cost. He also was very generous about sharing advice about things I could do myself, without charging me extra. The service was done within the prospective time frame they estimated.

Everything went well and as plan.

Matt and his co-worker arrived at the appointed time, worked diligently on our list of projects (see the list above), completed everything beautifully and faster than we expected, and even cleaned up the inevitable minor debris (in our experience, for some reason cleanup is something very rare among electricians), all without requiring supervision.  They were knowledgeable, including being familiar with the issues presented by the knob-and-tube wiring in our old house.  They were personable and professional -- "nice guys" -- comfortable having around working on our house.  We recommend Matt wholeheartedly, and definitely intend to call him again as the need arises -- in fact, we already have another appointment scheduled for Matt to handle some additional lighting repairs and installation.
One additional note -- we joined Angie's List to find a couple of reliable service providers, and Matt is our first Angie's List contact.  From our point of view, our contact with Matt represents a complete success.

All of the plugs in my kitchen were without electricity including the plug for my refrigerator.  I needed this resolved today.  I called Wilson Electric and by chance reached Matt Wilson.  We discussed the problem over the phone.  It turned out that he was currently within 5 minutes of my home and offered to adjust his schedule to drop by.   After examining the circuit breaker, it turned out to be a very quick fix and consequently he didn't charge me.  I realize this is not the norm and shouldn't be expected in the future...but he certainly made my day!  It's a relief to know that my refrigerator is operational again. I will definitely be calling Wilson Electric the next time I have an electrical problem.

I had two light multi-way switches that another hanyman could not fix after two tries. Matthew came over and fixed them in 30 minutes, and only charged me less than one hour rate. I thought it was really nice of him considering that he also incurred driving time. I will absolutely use Matthew again.

Went without a hitch.  I was kept informed at all times if there were any delays in parts ordered.

Matt Wilson came over to fix an overhead light that was flickering. Our handymen had looked at it and couldn't figure it out.
Matt discovered a dimmer switch on the side of the light switch that was
causing the problem. Since it took him only about 30 seconds to
diagnose, he agreed to install the sizeable light fixture we had
purchased to replace the problem light. Matt did it perfectly and even
brought in a broom and dustpan to clean up. We are very satisfied with
the work Matt did and would definitely call him again.
