Doug did a wonderful job on the tub and shower in our rental house, which were badly in need of a facelift. We also had him do the bathtub in our own home. Everything now looks like new! Originally, the tub had some chips and mineral stains. It looks brand new now and the surrounding tile looks like new tile. His attention to detail was the best. He was very attentive to customer needs. Everything he did was self contained, the service was no mess. Other companies require the owner to remove the faucets and knobs. The owner would then have install the new faucet or call a plumber. This company did it all from start to finish.

The house is a rental that has just been vacated by the tenant. The bathtub had grime imbedded in the surface that would not scrub out, so I thought resurfacing was the only option. Doug Martes showed up on time and after checking out the tub, he told me that he thought he would be able to clean it and resurfacing would not be necessary.  Well, he was right! It looks almost new. The best part was that instead of the $325 charge for the resurfacing, he only charged me $150. I am very pleased. He is a very personable and honest person.

I am very pleased with how the bathtub looks compared to the eyesore I had before.  I've had other contractors (that are working on my rental) ask for a referral as they can also tell that the job was very well done. The proprietor was professional yet personable. I would not hesitate to use his services again.

Doug was wonderful!  On time, his work was beautiful.  And, he was a lot of fun!  All in all, a job I had put off for years is now done and done well.  I would most certainly recommend Doug.

He was waiting for me when I arrived at the house, proceeded to clean the tub with an acid solution, sanded down everything then primed and glazed the tub.  He even put a non skid coat on the bottom.  I will use them again for my sinks.

My tub was chipped after removing a glass shower door.  Now it looks smooth, bright white and flawless.   I had shopped around and had gotten quotes that were at least $100 higher.  Doug's cost are not the lowest but they are reasonable and fair.

He is very responsive, replying to calls as soon as he could.  I built a lot of confidence in him as we discussed my on-going remodel with another company and he gave me very good tips on things to look for.  He has a general contractor and specialty trade license so he's well qualified to advise on a lot.

He even went the extra mile to bring some insulation to protect my copper pipes from galvanizing on other aluminum pieces that my original bathroom remodeler neglected to take care o and cleaned up a carpet-to-tile transition that the previous tiling company failed to do.
