After looking and several wood floor suppliers we ended up selecting Mulan Floor. They have a nice showroom in El Monte where you can see numerous different wood floorings. They also invited us to see a work in progress at a house in Azusa. We were impressed with what we saw and hired them to the flooring in our house. Based on their advice we chose solid wood for upstairs and engineered wood for downstairs. We also hired them to replace some old tiles and linoleum in the entry and bathrooms, as well as adding baseboard and crown molding.
We are very happy with the way the floors look. The flooring was installed very carefully and looks nice in corners and around edges. The tiles were also installed very nicely and the edge against the wood lines up nicely. The baseboards look nice and the crown moldings were nicely done, even around odd angles.
