They started in February and finished in April. The workmanship was pretty shoddy. I had to stand over and watch the guy doing the tile work. The tile work was the worst part, I think they just use the cheapest guys they can find. They were supposed to be putting the tiles down in a pattern, but the patterns weren't even symmetrical. It was so bad. Then they ran out of tiles and I had to wait two weeks - I had to keep calling them. They finally got the tile in and they sent the guy out to do the work, by that time I was so frustrated dealing with these guys. I asked him if he had all the pieces he needed and he said yes, but he was using the rounded pieces that you would use on a counter top. Then they put in recessed lighting in the kitchen and the cabinet doors were so over sized. I told the project manager that I didn't want to use hardware on the cupboards or cabinets - I just wanted to use finger pulls and they brought all the cabinets out and I noticed there were no finger pulls. I told the guy and he said I guess we'll just have to use hardware then. I don't know what they were thinking, they took all my old cabinet doors and drawer doors off so they could make them the same size (they were only replacing the doors). All the doors and drawers were over sized. I paid the guy off and he said he would send someone out to fix it and he never did. They would install the wrong things and I had to tell them. The guy didn't write anything down. I told them I wanted an under sink mount for the granite counter tops and the installers thought it was an over mount so they had to pull the granite off and take it out side and cut out the opening. They had to do some destruction and tear off the old tile on the counter tops which was standard height. My slide in stove was also that height. I measured the new counters and it was 3/4 of an inch shorter so I had to buy a new stove to fit. It was a disaster from day one.
