It was an Angie's List Big Deal that I purchased. It went pretty well.

We never heard from them. We contacted them twice heard back after the second call. They said they were sorry we fell thru the cracks. They promised they would call after the first of the year and they never did. We had the work done by another roofer.

It was okay. The guy came to the house and asked us if he bring along his kids. I thought they are going to be older. It was awkward. It was a little uncomfortable but he seem to do an okay job. I'm a retired educator so I love kids, I am fine with kids. When I actually thought he was with kids, I did not feel good. I should have told him no, I guess, but it occurred to me it would be an awkward situation.

It went well. I just couldn’t afford all of the recommendations that the person came up with. My neighbor who is a handyman basically told me that I could get by for quite a while. I just really didn’t need to change some roof caps. So my neighbor saved some money. My neighbor did some repair himself and really saved me a lot of money. He indicated that the roof needed to be done and my neighbor just told me all that needed to be done was the roof caps. I think he was excellent in his knowledge but I didn’t need the work done right away. I thought all the recommendations that he was making was to make money. So his pricing was reasonable but it didn’t need to be done right away. It was a big deal purchase. The quality was exaggerated. The reason I wouldn’t recommend them is that I just felt that I didn’t need a new roof after my neighbor followed up and looked at the roof. If I didn’t have my neighbor I probably would have gone through with it because I am not a roofer. I really didn’t have difficulty with him or frustration. I wasn’t upset with the roofer. He did a good assessment but that was his assessment.

I used YOUR LAST GUTTER GUARD

We had to call them back and he solved a gutter problem that had been going on for a long time. I appreciated his work. It took way to long for them to come out and do the work. We did have to call a lot and they delayed it twice. He did say that there was a huge response to the big deal, that he could not keep up with all of the work. I think I might use him again.

I purchased an Angie's List Big Deal for this service. We had a difficult time reaching him. It took three or four emails to him before we got him to respond.

The services were performed as requested, but initially calls to the company were not returned, so it took a while to schedule the service.  Also, the company was supposed to give me a report that included the life of the current roof.  This information was not provided in the report; I had to ask about it.
Overall, I was not entirely happy with the services provided, although since it has been a while I cannot pinpoint exactly why I feel this way.

I purchased one for myself and also a Big Deal for my son.  The job he did for me was ok but the gutter guard over the back porch leaks badly and does not drain out at the other end the way it is supposed to.  On my son's big deal that I purchased, He came and did the inspection and some minor work but did not follow up with the report and photographs of his roof that was included in the big deal and was important because my son does need more work to be done and told Chris to please give him an estimate.  He did not get the pictures and He never got back to him with the estimate and will have to find someone else to do the rest of the work hopefully before it starts raining. I guess he was not interested in earning more money.

It was as expected. However, subsequent calls (3) to request quotes to replace were promised but not provided. Would I call again? No, I would not. I was very disappointed as I really wanted to give my business with this nice man, particularly since his presentation was very strong on customer service. Perhaps he was too busy, I really don't know since I never received a call from him communicating that. It's important to note that the date of service is approximate - I really have no reason to recall the date.

After a few back and forth emails and phone calls, Chris arrived on time and performed a roof inspection on my home.  When finished, he provided a detailed print out on the spot, including photos and descriptions of areas that might need attention, along with maintenance tips.  I wasn't even expecting that part, and it was a nice surprise.  
There was, of course, an additional price quote with recommended fixes.  After thinking about it for a few weeks, I tried contacting Chris again to proceed with his recommended roof maintenance, and he responded that he would contact me back.  After a week of no response, I tried contacting him back but haven't heard anything since.

They  looked at roof condition and gave verbal diagnosis. However did not receive official diagnosis via email with pictures. Was promised it would be done within a week and never received it. I also asked for diagnosis on leaking problem and was given reason why and how to fix problem. It did not fix the problem and the issue still exists.

They did everything that they said they would do.  It was a good service and a good Big Deal.

It took awhile to be scheduled and rescheduled do to his changes. He can while I was away which was not the scheduled time. I thought the deal included simple repairs but it did not. I was paying for an estimate only. I did not have the work done at that time. I later had the repair done for a lesser amount that included no charge for estimate with pictures and very fast service during rain.

We had purchased a big deal for the service, and it turned out okay. The guy was okay, but they were very expensive. When they did the evaluation, the guy told me they would have to do this and that, including gutter cleaning. His charges were 2 or 3 times more than what other people would charge. His prices are really high, for what he says he needs to do. He tells you that he is not cheap before he does anything. I would have thought that when you are going to do thousands of dollars worth of work, they least they would do, is throw in gutter cleaning for free. There wasn't much that he did, because I had a new roof.

Failed to keep up appointment thrice.

It was an Angie's List Big Deal that I purchased. I was not happy about it but the seller was nice enough. We had a problem coordinating and I think it took about a month for us to be able to schedule a time for him to come over here and do the evaluation which is okay, we're not people who usually are on a huge rush unless something's urgent. Even after we got the review, it took about another month for us to get the finalized report. He came on August and we received the report at around October. He seemed knowledgeable and amiable enough but it seemed a little hard to get back from him to coordinate. He told us that he worked on our neighbors' house. The other one remembered this worker and he did a gutter install for them and they were very unhappy with it. So I thought that that makes me a little bit hesitant. It's one thing for somebody to come and do an evaluation but it's another thing for somebody to come in and actually perform the work if I know that they had a lot of problems with this worker, not just in the quality of the work that was done but also in some of the financing of it.

It was an Angie's list Big Deal that I purchased. I didn't have a very good experience with them. When he was here, it was okay. I bought the service because I wanted to know what shape my roof was in. It was kinda in my thought that I might need to get a new roof next year or pretty soon. He said that it was in better shape and there were a few minor repairs that he needed to do. He said that he was gonna prepare a report for me stating the shape the roof was in and kinda give me a rough estimate of the new gutters, roof. I'm interested to know what the cost would be for those. I e-mailed him a couple of times but I still have not received the report. He was actually a little snippy on the e-mail. He was hard to deal with just getting a hold of to arrange the appointments and confirm the times. I dealt with him mainly on e-mail. I called him once and he said he would call back later in the afternoon but didn't. My guess is he's kind of the mom and pop outfit so he's doing the scheduling himself so you were kinda left hanging. He would respond ultimately but you kinda want to get a response that day or in a timely manner. It was probably a month between the time I bought the deal and when we scheduled the appointment. I told him to check in with me a couple of days before to make sure it will work. That I found a little off-putting, too. It should be pretty easy to confirm an appointment. He said that he's busy with some paperwork that's why it's taking him a long time. It was a fair deal but I don't really feel I got what I paid for.
