They sent over one of their employees (Ethan) to perform the work, he was professional and cared about our home. he would not walk in without shoe covers and the first thing he did was put down a drop cloth. his work was done quickly/professionally and for the price quoted. will definitely use Nor Cal Mechanical in the future.

I own / property manage many residential units. This is our preferred supplier of heating and air conditioning needs. To earn this status you must provide excellent quality repairs/installs at reasonable prices, in a timely fashion all the time.  They are the only heating and air conditioning company that comes close to my expectations. 

I have used NorCal Mechanical many times in the past. They have installed over 4 heater / ac units for me and upgraded on system for me. They also provide routine repairs on my systems. 

Needless to say, since I continue using them over and over again I think this is the place to go. 

The fix things right, they charge a fair price, and are always professional  with my tenants. 

Don't hesitate to use them, I use them all the time !

Very well. Adam was very punctual, courteous and professional. He was able to fix the copper tubing in 10 minutes. Adam's friendly manner and fast service made the experience very pleasant. We will definitely recommend your company to friends and family.

Brad, owner, was courteous and on time. He provided a very competitive bid and was not afraid to work on our 1922 home. He did not try to make the job bigger than it was and he was very knowledgeable. We will use NorCal Mechanical again when we install new heating/air units.

Great experience. When spending this much money it was nice to know it was well spent.

They are excellent. I have used them multiple times on my various rental properties and I fully trust their work.

Our experience last month consisted of phone calls not returned in a timely amnner and NorCal being a no-show when he was supposed to come take a look at our residential HVAC system. He was supposed to come on a certain afternoon, and he was to call first. hever called and he never came and we never heard from him again. We decided to use another contractor.

The proposal submitted by NorCal was 1 of 5 which I evaluated. It was the most professionally written, custom detailed, clear and concise but complete bid - even specifying every component of the work (new beaker, disconnect, smoke alarms, carbon monoxide detector, gas line changes etc.). This was also the lowest cost bid (perhaps indicating the work ethic and honestly of the business) The bid also specified the Thermostat and post install 2 years of maintenance. Brad Nichols, the owner, performed the initial assessment and was present for all work. Brad's communication was excellent and all details of the replacement were discussed thoroughly. He answered a lot of questions. His experience and expertise were very valuable to me in finalizing my options and decisions for the solution. With my agreement the work started 2 days ahead of the original planned date. Brad and his crew showed up very promptly and set to work on multiple efforts - it was clear they are experienced working as an efficient and professional team. Drop clothes were placed in all interior work areas. The site was left completely cleaned, inside and out, each day. Brad was involved and maintained contacts with all aspects of the work with the result that all details were cleanly executed exactly as we had discussed - above the mark. The installation passed the required HERS testing by a significant margin. The county building inspector was only here a few minutes and was very pleased with the execution of the work as well, even complimenting it. I am very pleased with the performance of the new system and all aspects of the work performed by Brad and his team. I highly recommend NorCal Mechanical to others looking to perform HVAC upgrades or related work and will seek them out again for future projects (I can see a new, quiet whole house fan coming up one of these days:-) It was a pleasure working with them.
