Never, never use his contractor.  I hired Mark to install a filtration system.  He choose a bog filtration sytem which was the wrong choice.  Within two weeks the bog filled up with algae and Mark refused to return calls or assist in any way.  After a year I took him to court and won a judgment which he refused to pay.  Mark is deceptive and unprofessional.  He will overcharges for simple services which I found out the hard way.  He never took responsibility or ownership of the problem and consistently lied to me.  If you want a really good company go with Sacramento Koi in Rocklin or Compete Ponds in Folsom.

They came out when they said they would and the price was exactly what he estimated. The three-man crew worked steadily for three days. The final finished product was really nice; but he was difficult to communicate with because they are really busy. A lot of projects they do are much larger than ours; ours was really a small job. Although he did not say, I kind of got the feeling that ours was a fill-in. It was really hard finding someone to do this job so I was grateful to have them do it.  

They are very professional, fair, and honest.  I like that he educated me about the pond in regards to adding living creatures but also in keeping the pond clean.
