JWA was amazing. The workers were so experienced and professional and we felt involved every step of the way. We had a lot of rock in our backyard and even with the unexpected set backs....John and the rest of the workers kept us informed and did everything they could to keep the cost at the original price. The contract we signed really set out when we paid what we did and the progress was quick and exactly what we hoped for! I would recommend JWA to anyone and would use them again in a second!

We hired JWA end of last year to complete a full front and backyard revamp. Not only was the owner John and his team extremely professional to work with, but they created the backyard of our dreams! They went above and beyond our expectations, and I can't wait to enjoy our backyard more this summer. They created a fireplace, outdoor kitchen, pergola, seating area, full landscaping, water features, pavers, concrete, etc. It's truly an oasis and worth every cent! Scheduled an appt with John two weeks ago. Attempted to communicate project details at time the appt was scheduled, but he was in a hurry. Appt window was 11am-1pm. Since I hadn't heard from him by noon, I called to get an ETA. Response: "oh, was just about to call you to tell you I was running late." We discuss pushing it back 1-2 hours, but he's reluctant since it interferes with other appts (apparently more important). Then adds that the drive time (20-30 min) is just a killer, and he's swamped. Next he ask me about the project details. Once shared, he proceeds with canned response of 'that's smaller than my typical job, and I don't think I'm going to be the right fit." That would have been an acceptable response on the first phone call, but since I went to the effort of scheduling an appt, and coming home early from work to meet a no-show contractor who then cancelled the appt over the phone, necessary to share my opinion with other prospective customers: JWA is a typical flaky contractor, don't waste your time.

JWA was punctual, efficient, professional, knowledgeable, easy to work with and I would use them again. They were a tad more expensive than some firms, but you get what you pay for.

Actually we are not going with their services because their pricing was quite high compared to some other landscapers that we found.

Fantastic from start to finish.  The quality of the workmanship was superb, the prices fair for the level of work performed, the crew reliable and very capable and the supervision including the boss, excellent to work with.  This job lasted around two months and involved setting block to plan, cutting and setting around a ton and a half of stone by hand, installing drip and other irrigation, working with other contractors for custom fencing and area preparation, delivery and placement of soil, and coordination on purchase of plants.  Overall, a very well executed job...STRONGEST RECOMMENDATION!

I was referred to JWA by a friend who was very pleased with their work on their recently completed landscape project. My project included a new irrigation and drainage system in my backyard, installation of the landscape that was planned by a designer, a fence around my pool equipment, removal of and replacing concrete in my front entry, and drip system replacement and plant installation in my front yard. I was pleased throughout the process. Dave the General Manager was was a pleasure to work with. What set him apart from others I've worked with in the past was that he was at my house overseeing the project and communicating on plans and progress almost every day.  I had complete confidence in Agustin who was the foreman of the project. I am very happy with my completed work and would not hesitate to recommend them.

The day that the guy showed up to do the work, he told me he had to cancel because he had scheduled another job at the same time. I found that to be very unprofessional and rude. I decided not to reschedule and we went with another company.
