Timely, professional knowledge and installation. Neat in appearance, and in installation. Wore shoe covers inside of house - a definite plus with the wife! Busy schedule and a bit pricey, but licensed and worth the price.

After getting an outrageous quote from a plumbing company I called Folsom Lake Electrical.  They were able to give me a telephone quote and because I was a little concerned about the size of the units & our enormous attic, they came out just to double check.  The quote was correct and there were no issues of concern found.  The installer showed up as scheduled and installed both units in about 7 hours.  He cleaned up and there were no issued. Love the fans!

Professional and friendly service.  Was done with the job in about 45 minutes, including a trip to Home Depot to get parts.  Cleaned up after job was finished and removed old ballasts to dispose of.  Will use Folsom Lake Electric for any electrical needs in the future.

We wanted a get a whole house fan installed and Folsom Lake Electric was recommended by a co-worker. I called Folsom Lake Electric and the owner came out to provide an analysis of the home, we discussed the likely installation locations, and he also provided a quote. As the price was the same as my co-worker paid, we decided to proceed. The installation was scheduled for three days later. The installation took a little longer than planned, as the conduit that he thought was the A/C condensation drain turned out to be a main water line! I am glad I was there for the installation because we could have ended with a mess if he had to run around looking for the shutoff. He cleaned up any residual insulation on the floor, removed all packaging materials, helped me find the rebate forms, had a clean installation and placed the control box exactly where I requested.
I'll give a C for professionalism for the water line mistake, though I would expect that is a one-time kind of error. Otherwise I was very happy, give them an A overall and would use them again.

I called and explained what I wanted to have done - addition of three new canned / recessed lights in the kitchen, on a separate switch from the other lights in the area. Mike (owner) came out when promised, looked over the work area and gave me his estimate. I told him to proceed. Since I wanted the new lights to be the same design as other recessed lights on that floor, he had to locate and buy them before he'd start. Mike came back the next day and did exactly what we wanted: added three new lights, replaced the existing triple bay light switch with a quad bay switch. He cleaned up when he was done, and there were no hidden, additional charges. Very happy with his work.
As a side note, a year later SMUD's electric meter / surge protector combo at our service panel failed, melting some of the service panel parts. I called Folsom Lake Electric and asked Mike to take a look at the damage. He arrived within an hour and determined that the service panel equipment was pretty old and he'd have to see where he might find replacement parts. Later that day he showed up with the parts and did the repairs. SMUD re-imbursed us for Mike's charges ($275).
I highly recommend Folsom Lake Electric to anyone needing work done in their home. I know that we'll call Mike if we need more electrical work done.
