During the repair, mr. Monteux remains on-site to supervise the repair process. The technician quicky replaced the attached a reinforcement bar to the garage door and replaced the slider on the garage door opener. The tech then lubricated all the moving parts. The work took approximately 45 minutes to complete.
The company answered the phone at 10am and by noon there was a polite service man working on it. They asked me what the issue was and after a short evaluation, spent about 45 minutes fixing it. The door, cable and sensors all were readjusted and now my door runs like a charm. It had been a mess, with the door hanging sideways and the cable twisted all over the place. The guy explained what he did and noted that my sensors were old and dried from sun exposure. They still worked and he just explained what might happen if they get too hazy to sense well down the road. He gave me an estimate for possible future work on them but no pressure to do anything now.
A few days later, the company called me back to check on the door and the service. I've already recommended them to one other person.
The next appointment within a few days fixed the problem and I am very pleased.
