Royal Flush Plumbing Co

My wife and I were having multiple strange issues with our plumbing and got into contact with Royal Flush Plumbing.They were 45 minutes late the first day at which time Doug requested money up front for "materials". We hesitated however, butgave him half the amount requested because he seemed legitimate. He fiddled around a little under our house for a few hours and said he had to go get some parts etc. and has not returned after about 3 consecutive promises and days. After several weeks of trying to contact him....we have given up! I did a little research and found that he is currently unlicensed and is using the license number of a very nice man in El Cerrito whom has had many similar calls from burned customers like us. We are now pursuing a complaint with the contractors board and the better business bureau!

This person is an unlicensed thief. He contracted with us to do some major work on our home at which time we gave him a large deposit to start,and after 5 appointments and no shows, we decided to call the police. I have talked to several plumbing suppliers locally and many have yet to be paid by him....in affect....stolen from them too! I subsequently checked the license board after the problems began and found that he does not hold the appropriate license....no license at all!....the couple times he made a brief appearance...there was an overwhelming smell of alcohol ....at 9:00 in the morning! Greatly disappointed that somebody would do something like this...

The job went fine. He warned us that he was not going to be cheap, but he did excellent work. Both of those things were true. His cleanup was good.

They gave me a realistic expectation of the cost, the timeline, when they would get parts and when they would get things finished. They came and they did it - it was done when I got back. Everything was taken care of - I couldn?t even tell. They were pretty professional and knew what they were doing. He told me exactly what they had to do and why it was going to cost what it cost. He took some time to explain what he had to do and why it was going to take the time that it took. He was fair about the description of his work. It was a great job when it was finished. I would use him again in the future if necessary.

They were very positive as far as their professionalism and punctuality was concerned. I spent about $400. I felt it was expensive but they did good work. I will not use this company in the future.

Our contractor needed someone at the last minute to do this work. Even though it had been in the plan for weeks, the original plumber had to be let go and Royal Flush was hired. They came in the morning and stayed until around 7.30 to finish the job rather than delay another day. This was crucial since we had scheduled deliver of our new appliances. The two main plumbers, along with Doug Royal, the owner, showed up, although the former two did most of the work. They even did a bit of extra that we hope will reenforce water pressure throughout the house. Finally, they left the place tidy!

The job went ok, but they kept trying to up sell me. Also, they couldn't finish it in one day like planned so I had to make another trip to the home because it was not the home I was living in at the time.
