EAST STAR BUILDING SUPPLY

Purchased cabinets and quartz countes from East Star(they did the install on the counters). For the price quality is excellent as is We've had numerous issues with our contractor and East Star worked to resolve all our issues quickly. Selection is limited and quality does not compare to what you will find at some of the semi-custom lines but them neither does the price. For our kitchen remodel the price at East Star was 3500 vs 16-18000 at most of the local semi-custom cabinet places we looked. Cabinet quality seems to fine so far, tolerance on doors are looser and finish isn't as perfect but for under a quarter of the price you can't expect it to be. For the counters the only complaint is some visible seams at the bullnose on one of the slabs. Only advice I would offer is to visually go over all slabs before they start cutting and installing. We had done that to some extent and exchanged on slab but didn't catch the seam issue till after install. Had we caught it before East Star would exchange it without an issue. Counter installers were on time and worked to give a great product and incorporate some of our design ideas in the cuts. Considering the counters installed were 2000 vs 7000 for silesstone I'd say it's a great value for the money. If this was our dream house I would go for one of higher end cabinet companies and counters and expect perfection but considering we will only be here for 5 years or so and then rent or sell I would go with East Star without reservation.
