CONNORS' OVERHEAD DOORS

So we got them out about three weeks ago when our garage came off track everything seemed fine until the wheel came of about a week after. So we called the emergency number That says 24hrs but no one answered voicemail full my grandmother happen to call a 11pm Tuesday night the owner John Connor answered and said he'd be out Wednesday to see the garage no call no show. We try the rest of the week didn't get anyone till Saturday gave me the run around all day Tech worker called and said he'd be there between 2:30 and 4. 4 o'clock rolls John calls me saying his tech is running behind he will be there between 4:45 and 5:15. 6 rolls around I send him a text saying I need an actual time he decides to be sarcastic and say he's in the truck now I'm rescheduling his other jobs. After that nothing. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS SERVICE. Unprofessional and a waste of time.

see above.  Bottom line: do not trust him or use him.

My garage door broke on a Friday evening and the company that I normally use doesn't work on the weekends.  I checked Angie's List and found a company that received excellent ratings and decided to give them a try.  Unfortunately, I got the name mixed up and ended up calling Connors (he's now advertising as "MC Garage Door," but I meant to call MC Garage Door s).  That was a costly mistake for me and I had a horrible feeling when I realized my mistake, because I know that this guy has a bad reputation. 

Antonio showed up to fix the door, and he seemed really nice, but was in a huge hurry.  I thought it was because it was a Saturday afternoon and I was the last stop before going home.  He got my garage door to close, so I thought the problem was solved and I was thankful.  Unfortunately, three days later, the garage door broke again!  Since they gave me a 30-day warranty, I called Mike Connors, told him the problem and asked him to send Antonio back the next day.  Mike said it would be ?no problem,? but that he was in a ?bad service area,? so if I would call back and leave a message, he would forward the message to Antonio.  I called back and left a message, but come late the next morning, I still hadn?t heard from Antonio.  To make a LONG story short, I had to make several calls, got the runaround and had to wait an extra day for service.  I really didn?t think that Antonio was going to show up, but he did.  Again, he got the garage door down, (was again in a big hurry) but I knew that he didn?t fix the problem. If my door keeps twisting & not closing, and all you do is lower it without finding out & fixing the problem, then this is just going to keep on happening. 

 

I decided to save myself further frustration and called the company that I normally use, Golden Gate Garage Doors.  Tim checked everything out, took the time to explain it and fixed the problem.  I haven't had any problems since.

My husband tried to fix our garage door and ended up making it worse by bending the track and breaking the cables. Called Connor;s nd they were out the same day withing a few hours. I really thought it was going to cost much more than it did! Would highly recommend them to anyone.

The call in to make an appointment was unprofessional. The workman came out in the time specified, described what needed to be done. Communication skills were low. Left a big sawdust mess all over the place. Expensive for work that anyone could have probably done with a saw.

They came the day after I called them and did a good job for a reasonable fee.

I felt that Michael knew exactly what was required when he came to provide an estimate. Both my garage doors are non-standard size and my garage is more than 50 years old and therefore somewhat small. He knew what needed to be done to fit the doors in. The two men who came to do the work were a little late, but very efficient and polite. I was alarmed at the number of nails, screws, nuts and bolts I found in my driveway and garage after the workers left, though.

THE DOOR WAS CUSTOM MADE BUT THE INSTALLATION TOOK ONLY A FEW MINUTES. WE HAD NO PROBLEMS WITH THE WORKER. I FELT HE WAS VERY SURE OF HIMSELF AND THE JOB.
