I hired CLO construction on the recommendation of my architect. Because of the age of my home (Edwardian) many of the items were difficult to match and one of a kind. However, Chris and Conor (the general contractors and CLO owners) did a terrific job. They finished on time, on budget, and did an incredible job. Any changes to the price and timing were a result of my changes, not theirs. No detail or concern was too small for them. The project was not perfect-nothing of this magnitude ever is. However, whenever there was a problem they were highly professional and responsive to my concerns. In fact, I think they may have undercharged me for their time, particularly the time they took to make me happy with the results. They were on the medium spectrum in terms of price, but well worth the money and the results were top level. Their price also did not change from the contract price-except for additions I added post contract. I have had other remodels in other homes (three, in fact) but by far CLO impressed me with their work. I highly recommend them to anyone who is considering doing a remodel and have done so to several friends, who also have been highly satisfied.

I just had bought the condo with some very ugly grey tile floors which I replaced with some warm hardwood floor. I worked with Conor who was recommended to me by a friend. Conor is a very friendly and professional person. He came by the house to take measurements and warned me about possible increase in the cost depending on how the removal would go. The removal went fairly well but the plywood underneath was too damaged to be able to properly place the new floor. A new layer of plywood was added and then the new floor was laid down. The new floor is beautiful and from what I can tell properly installed and so far I haven't found any problem with it. I honestly believe that the place is much better now thanks to him.

Came in and did everything to my liking. Prompt and personable not problems. Cleaned up each day after the work was done, just perfect.
