Description of Work: Isabel Robertson is a landscape designer, licensed landscape contractor, and also does landscape maintenance, notably for CA Natives and drought tolerant plants, which is one of her specialities and particular interests. She has 18 years experience, is Bay Friendly Qualified, EPA qualified, and a WaterSense irrigation auditor. We have an approximatley one-acre home in Orinda, CA, and when we bought our home over ten years ago, it came with an ugly, rolling, water-guzzling lawn that never looked healthy or good, and which was costing us a lot of money to maintain. After the drought a few summers ago, we said to ourselves, "enough is enough." We entirely relandscaped both the front and back of our home with California native plants (which non-interested strangers have told us is stunning). Isabel was referred to us by the original landscape designer (Claudia Vieira), and she has been the one helping us to maintain the yard ever since. Our CA native landsacping requires much less maintenance then before, but it does require some very specialized care, and she reliably comes once a month and keeps it looking beautiful. She is efficient, knowledgeable, punctual, and effective. She has a very strong design sense, which has been crucial for us as we continue to round out our landscaping. We have referred Isabel to friends with native plant landscaping, and they have been equally pleased with her work.
