Had many projects planned. Wanted grounded electric plugs installed in LR, BRs, & BRs...he told me he didn't like going into creepy crawl space, but would install three prong without grounding and a short would stop electricity flow to plug...found out later that's not true. Had him replace a grounded electrical plug that wasn't working on pool pump housing, the first time I tried to use it, it shorted out...hired an electrician that told me it was grounded improperly. Wanted new BR sink & cabinets installed. Did okay with sink,& drywall repair where an old medicine cabinet had been, but he installed cabinet over toilet upside down & then had to go to home depot to buy caulking to fill in holes inside cabinet....I had to pay extra for the caulking and he gave no $ credit for the time he spent traveling to Home Depot Had thought I was going to have him assemble an outdoor tool shed that I had planned to buy but changed my mind and decided to have him do some outside painting when he arrived. His exact words were, "Painting is not my favorite thing" I told him I had paid for his services for a week for what I needed done, not what he "liked" to do. While painting, I saw him multiple times wasting time and once clocked him for 20 minutes sitting in his truck in my driveway....walked out and said, "How's it coming along" His answer, "just taking a break." I had watched him from inside the house take a couple of breaks that morning and it wasn't even 11 a.m. yet. However, he deducted that time spent taking a break from my 40 hours of work that I purchased. I will never again purchase a large block of time for any contractor from Angies List because once you've already paid the money, you are at the mercy of the contractor and customer service at Angies List was non existent in 2017 when this happened.

Dave is nice. He is punctual. He works a little lower than expected. He did a nice job on the flooring. He did a sloppy job on the casings. I would not hire him again because of the job he did on the casings

"Ok, I tell you what pal, I wouldn't work for you again no matter how much you paid me! You can't even spell, read your review again, and you say I completed the job on Wed Aug 9, you're wrong again. It was Friday July 28th, or don't you remember, I logged all the details. And by the way you forgot to mention that stinking carpet, padding, and tack strip I removed in which you interfered with me removing it, along with all you're other brilliant ideas which slowed me down."

Dave Wade is meticulous in his work. He was very professional and obviously takes pride in a job done well. His pricing was very reasonable. Sometimes contractors with good pricing provide poor quality work. This was not the case with Triple P Construction.

I paid for 40 hours at $1500. He worked hard, but like a bull in a China shop style. Combative over every request. Supposed to start Dec 26th. I texted on Christmas to confirm and he asked to push back a week. I'm not in a huge hurry, so that was okay. Next Sunday calls and says he needs another day at someone else's house to do up. Can we do Tuesday instead of tomorrow, but it might be in afternoon because of this other job. I day let's just say 8 on Wednesday to make sure. He shows up on time, but at the end of the day he says he can't come back until the next Monday... After the bathroom is already demomolished. Ugh, I guess other work is more important. So on Monday we were going to home depot to pay up the bathroom vanity. It didn't arrive so i couldn't pick it up, but I told Dave we would count the day as if he worked it (ie, get paid for 8 hours) and he didn't need to show up, however, we'd go to Home Depot tomorrow. He then tells me he's not available for the rest of the week. I paid for 40 hours of work... One week of contractor time and I excepted the days to be consecutive. I fired him right then and there, even though I already paid for 40 hours and got 8. Dealing with him just wasn't worth it. There were many other things I would mention, but this has gone on too long already. I'm writing a full letter to Angie's List to tell them all the rest of his unprofessional work. I am mad at Angle List too, as I bought a membership to ensure their recommended workers had been vetted. I've had better luck with Craiglist! Save your money and sanity... Go with ANYONE but this doofus!!

"When I first went out to this client's home for the free consultation he clearly stated he wanted me to remove the tile floor in one of his bathrooms, vanity, and electrical light then re-install the existing vanity put in a new tile floor and leave the existing shower surround in and possibly install a new light. I said ok, but you'll have to wait till after Christmas, because I have other customer's who I've already started work for ahead of you, he said ok, no specific date was set. I never received a text on Christmas day, and besides that, who in their right mind is going to bother someone on Christmas Day, people are usually with their families. So then when I get out there the second time, he changed his mind on what he wanted done he told me he just wanted to demo one of his bathrooms and take the rubbish and put it in his garage, because he had somebody else that was going to install the rest of the stuff, so I did that. Then he told me to meet with him the next Monday at Home Depot which I was on my way there and so I decided to call him to make sure he would be there because he kept changing his mind so many times that I wanted to confirm he would be there. So when he answered the phone sure enough he changed his mind again. He told me that he had cancelled for today, and he wanted me to come out tomorrow, and I had previously told him I had set a date with another client and his family for tomorrow who really was without a bathroom . And that's when he blew-up over the phone and told me we were done. I was trying to tell him you still had a lot of hours left but when I continued trying to reason with him there was no response I kept saying hello, hello but there was no answer, I don't know if he hung up or he just didn't respond."

Dave is a nice guy and a hard worker, even my husband commented on that.. He did the demo needed, got the new door/windows put in. Sadly he ran out of time from the Angie's list voucher, and had another job scheduled. I had another contractor do the finish work last minute, as was worried about rain. We'd hire Dave again, just couldn't wait - and the guys who finished said what a good job was done on getting the door/windows in.

Overall excellent job, very punctual meeting time. Service provided was excellent, required entry into the attic and it was very hot that day. Thorough knowledge of electrical connections and coding. Worked the entire 8 hours as agreed to in the deal. Great job!
