They are always available, very reasonable and professional. I will use Steele again and highly recommend them.

What I thought I was going to like about it was that I had had an electrician here and this electrician had referred me to Steele Plumbing. So I kind of felt like word-of-mouth. I liked the electrician, I trusted him. So that's why Steele came over here. When he was here initially, he said he could replace those plungers in the bathroom sinks but he didn't have a better quality on the truck. He just had a standard quality and I thought, "Well, okay let me just get it done correctly." So he said somebody would come back by and do it. When the guy came back by, he put in something that he told me was an upgrade. He had removed the drain part and replaced the steel ring part that goes around it into the drain and then he started putting the plunger part in and then he said, "Oh, well this is an old house and it doesn't go straight down. I have to bend this part to make it go around the pipe." And I said, "Well, just as long as it works." So then he got the sink completely torn apart and he said, "I can't make it work." And I said, "Then put the old stuff back in." He said, "My boss won't let me." It was not a good interchange. So I did not like that. He said, "Well, it would take me more than X number of hours." I think he had been here a couple of hours at that time and he said he is not supposed to stay on the job longer than whatever it was, 2 hours, whatever. He stated an amount. So I said, "Well, I don't think that's right. Can you change the price because you had to bend the new upgraded piece to make it work and it still doesn't plunge up and down smoothly? It goes crooked." He said, "Let me call." I just left the room because I was very upset. So I didn't hear his half of the conversation. So he came back and he said, "No, he says I'm supposed to work on this until I could make it work smoothly." So I just said, "Okay" and I left again. Then he did whatever he could and then it didn't work smoothly and I just thought, "Well, I have to pay." So I paid. But I would never have him come again, ever. I just thought that was a lot of money to pay for plungers in the bathroom. He probably spent the amount of time that would justify the dollar amount for hourly, but it was him monkeying around trying to make something work that was not made for my old sinks and when you come into this house you know it's an old house, built in 54 which I tell everyone. The guy who was here couldn't make any decisions. He kept saying, "Oh my boss says this. My boss says that." I didn't like that. He should have been able to work with me. I'm not like a crabby old person that's looking for deals and trying to get discounts all the time. It was my first foray into, without my husband, having something done that normally my husband took care of. They were probably on time. He was very polite. He cleaned up after himself. He did all the stuff. But my opinion really went down when he said he couldn't get the new piece to work. I thought it was a compromise that I would go ahead and pay the cost, but I wanted him to put in the old parts and he said, "No, they were destroyed." I just didn't like that. I will never use them again and if anybody asked me for a plumber name I will say, "Do not go to this guy." That's exactly what I've done.

We've had good experiences and not so good experiences with them. I was satisfied because they did the job. From what I recall, they did a good job. My clients are still happy. They don't have any problems with any sewer line. The reason I haven't been in touch lately is because we had a hard time getting responses from them. The price was reasonable.

We were very pleased with their service. It was a good price for what they did.

We have used them three times and I am always happy with their work. We always call them again. Earlier in the year we had a sewer back up and they came out and fixed that and they were so nice, we were a weekend without water, they gave us a key to their office so that we could use their bathroom. We have been real happy with them. They are always really good and come right out.
