+ -1 moreFrom the very start of the project, there was a rush to finish. I had given them a site plan and spec list for them to bid on. She rarely if ever again referred to the plans once they started. I was unable to be home everyday so when I got home each day I would find things that was not done, or so poorly done that it needed to be reworked. When I expressed my concerns, they were either dismissed completely or met with hostilely . In fact the more concerns I had, the faster they worked. Some of the things that can be seen was done so poorly that that I have to wonder about the things that I can?t see. One example is there was no water retention basins around the plants, so that most of the water was running away from the plants. Most of the emitters where placed so only one side of the plant and was getting any water at all. This suppose to be a drought tolerant, water saving garden. Instead I have water running down the driveway.
Description of Work: Although I do appreciate all the work that Sue and her crew did, I feel that my money would have been better spent elsewhere. She asks top dollar and delivered a mediocre job at best. What started as a “ can do” attitude before the contract signing quickly turned into a “ this will just have to do” once the project was underway. In my opinion there was a lack of knowledge, attention to detail or pride in craftsmanship that I could have found at half the price. Two weeks after they finished, I have to go back and re-do some of the basic things that were over looked. What was to be a beautiful investment in my home has turned into just one more headache.
