Ocean Drywall

Kip Maxted is the owner and he is outstanding. He came out to quote the work for taping and mudding. He pointed out that if I was truly planning on hanging the sheet rock myself that I needed to be aware of the numerous areas where shims and fir would be necessary. I realized he was totally right and I asked him to quote the entire job. His quote was very competitive. I know this because I also had a friend from church quote the same job. Kip's job knowledge came through in the way he discussed the work and made sure I know the job would be done right with total attention to detail. Day 1 - The day he started, he arrived promptly at 7:30 AM with three guys to get the job set up. Once he had addressed all of my many concerns and questions, he left the sheet rock hanger Romando to do the work alone. Romando was a true blessing to talk to and watch as he did outstanding work. He was finished much faster than I expected. When he left after the first day the work area was very clean. I did a quick swiffer mopping to get up sheet rock residual dust up so my kids wouldn't track it all over the house. Day 2 - Kip Maxted, a helper and his tape & mud guy Rob arrived promptly at 7:30 AM and got the site set up again. Rob's skill hanging plastic to protect the house was good. Watching him trowel on the mud so fast and so precisely was cool. When he left at 3:30 the work looked awesome and the job site was once again clean. I did a quick mop again to get residual dust up. Day 3 - Kip and Rob showed up again to texture the walls and handle final details. These guys are awesome and their attention to detail is outstanding. If you need drywall finishing work done, I highly recommend them.
