 + -1 moreLee is excellent. He tuned our Yamaha grand piano, serviced it, and told us that because of its age, the tone in the lower registers was getting harsh. He is knowledgeable enough about pianos in general that he could advise us that we might want to trade the piano in for a newer one and come out ahead because people would prefer the natural wood finish of this one and we value the sound quality highly. Improving the sound on this one would be $2500. We haven't decided yet, but thanks to Lee have good information to evaluate the options.
Description of Work: Tuned an older Yamaha grand piano and gave advice on further courses of action.

Description of Work: During the process of purchasing a used grand piano for my teenage son, Lee was so helpful, reliable, prompt, and professional. We didn't have much experience at buying an older piano and Lee's knowledge and intuition proved to be invaluable. On short notice, Lee visited the seller's home to evaluate the piano. He gave us a wealth of information which aided us in making a decision. After purchase, Lee cleaned and tuned the piano. I could see he put forth sincere effort and time to return the piano to it's full playing potential. We will definitely call upon Lee again for future service.

 + -1 moreLee arrived on time and set up his supplies. He cleaned the intstrument on the inside (it was dusty) and completed a thorough tuning. He also gave me his thoughts on a piano I was trying to sell, as to how much it was worth. He was knowledgeable and easy to work with. Everything he did was very professional. I would definitely use him again.

 + -1 moreExtremely well. No problems. A smooth and easy interaction.
Description of Work: Thoroughly professional and capable. A pleasure to have in our home. We highly recommend him. The piano had not been tuned for some time and required a lot of attention and adjustment. Mr Hinz did an excellent job and obviously knows his trade extremely well. We recommend him without reservation.

 + -1 moreMr. Hintz is personable, professional, and incredibly skilled and we will be calling on him periodically to maintain our piano. We recommend him unconditionally to others.
Description of Work: Our piano had been moved a couple of times and had not been tuned in at least a decade, i.e. it was in really bad shape.Mr. Hintz extremely patiently and professionally worked for almost three hours to thoroughly clean, adjust, and tune the instrument and restore it to excellent playable condition.Mr. Hintz is personable, professional, and incredibly skilled and we will be calling on him periodically to maintain our piano. We recommend him unconditionally to others.
