Great. Very effecient.

It didn't. Mark gave me an offer of $250, which I accepted. He then said he had 9 men that would go over my entire property for $2800. I told him that his offer was $2700 the last time he worked for me, and he got his nose bent out of shape. We shook hands on the work of $250 to be performed, and he said he had a job down the road and would be back soon. Well, he never returned, and I had to call another reliable source to do the work. A bit too petulant and unreliable for me -- would not recommend him at all.

I live on the East Coast so finding good providers is a little more challenging. They were and quot;foundand quot; from doing work in a neighbors yard. My local San Diego contact called them, and then I also talked with them at length on what I was looking for. I inherited a house that has been neglected and overgrown for YEARS!! The amount of trees and overgrown shrubbery was so thick you couldn't even see the yard. I can now see the entire backyard and they more than met my expectations, especially given the amount of work that was required. My local contacts both said they did a fabulous job and the crew worked harder than any they've ever seen! They provided miracles in the yard, and offered to go above and beyond. I have a lot of additional work that needs to be done, and because they are well connected and respected in the community have provided us with names and ideas for workers. I would aboslutely refer them and use them again!

Robert, the estimator and foreman, favorably impressed me from the beginning. Not only his knowledge of the trees and plants, but his ability to point out areas that needed attention and explain why. Although I am usually pretty controlling about what I expect, I ended up telling him to do what he thought was needed. We are very pleased with the results. The crew arrived on time and worked like beavers the whole day. Even though it was late in the day when they finished, they went accross town to my daughter's apartments to cut down a couple trees for her. I would definitely hire Knock-em-out again. They came by the house. I checked their listing online. They were excellent.

They did a good job.

They asked me if they could dump mulch and I said no because green mulch can be toxic to our horses and could kill them. They made a u-turn towards the dirt road dumped the mulch right after I told them not to. We now have 8 piles of mulch dumped on our site. It seems they are dumping there in order to bypass fees for taking the mulch to the dump. There is a no trespassing sign and they have no permission to dump there. Wow! These guys are pros and far more affordable than the alternatives. I've had them perform two jobs now (this was the second) and they are awesome. Great crew, all the right equipment, timely, responsive, and seriously priced likely half to a third of alternatives, while still being totally legit (licensed, insured, etc.)
