I live on the East Coast so finding good providers is a little more challenging. They were and quot;foundand quot; from doing work in a neighbors yard. My local San Diego contact called them, and then I also talked with them at length on what I was looking for. I inherited a house that has been neglected and overgrown for YEARS!! The amount of trees and overgrown shrubbery was so thick you couldn't even see the yard. I can now see the entire backyard and they more than met my expectations, especially given the amount of work that was required. My local contacts both said they did a fabulous job and the crew worked harder than any they've ever seen! They provided miracles in the yard, and offered to go above and beyond. I have a lot of additional work that needs to be done, and because they are well connected and respected in the community have provided us with names and ideas for workers. I would aboslutely refer them and use them again!

Robert, the estimator and foreman, favorably impressed me from the beginning. Not only his knowledge of the trees and plants, but his ability to point out areas that needed attention and explain why. Although I am usually pretty controlling about what I expect, I ended up telling him to do what he thought was needed. We are very pleased with the results.

The crew arrived on time and worked like beavers the whole day. Even though it was late in the day when they finished, they went accross town to my daughter's apartments to cut down a couple trees for her. I would definitely hire Knock-em-out again.

Wow! These guys are pros and far more affordable than the alternatives. I've had them perform two jobs now (this was the second) and they are awesome. Great crew, all the right equipment, timely, responsive, and seriously priced likely half to a third of alternatives, while still being totally legit (licensed, insured, etc.)
