Dr. Judy was, he's now retired :O( and :O), a superior practitioner who treated not just cats and dogs but exotics, and in his early years horses and other large animals. His experience was vast and he was always extremely conscientious and caring. He also treated the Sheriff's Canine Unit for decades. Every doctor treating animals or humans, are only human themselves and medicine is not an exact science. Not every procedure is going to go as anticipated and there is always a risk. He performed many necessary surgeries over these many years and my animals recovered as expected. He also refers specialists when in the animals best interest. He was fine doctor and a fine man who built an amazing practice are carefully selected a successor to his practice who is equally conscientious and caring.

Up until 6 months ago, this would've been a 5 star review. Then early summer I took my dog into see Dr. Judy for a teeth cleaning and while she was under, he was going to take a very very small growth off of her eyelid. He said it would be easy. Three days later I took her back in because her eye was red, watering, itching. He said it was one of the stitches scratching her cornea and took it out. More meds, same bad watering itching, etc., now her bottom eyelid is starting to droop. Back in to see him - when he enters the room, he said and quot;wish I had never done this, it’s costing me more money on follow-ups then I made by the surgeryand quot;. Hello? This time he said and quot;now we have another problem ...and quot; He claimed it is a genetic problem - corneal erosion - she needs MORE meds. I start crying and he said it’s no big deal, don't worry. I'm sorry, I went in there with a perfectly fine dog and now she has a genetic problem? Within 2 hours I found an Eye Specialist and got her there. She had to have Emergency Surgery - the surgery had to be totally redone. The way Dr. Judy left her eyelid was with it inverting and the eyelashes were continually scratching her eye! He was rude, tried to blame his bad stitching on genetics and failed as a Vet. If this and quot;easyand quot; surgery was too much for his skills, he should've referred me to the Specialist. He hurt my dog. It’s all about the bottom line. At this point, I can finally talk about it, I'm sorry I didn't start warning people earlier. Be careful - he is fine for little stuff but his skills are limited.

The experience has been very good. I found him on Angie's List. They seem to be on par with the reviews that were on Angie's List.

Told me that my dog had cancer and she gave him some medication and he got too much.

We wanted to establish a new vet since we just moved to the area a year ago and we picked up 2 new kittens. We actually took our kittens to another vet for a spay, who alerted us that one kitten was behind on some vaccinations that Dr. Judy missed. The staff here was nice, however.

My 17 year old cat was losing weight rapidly but he seemed ok otherwise. He had a great appetite, plenty of s**** and not looking like he was ready to die, except the wt. loss. After the cat's exam and blood work was complete the Vet called me at home and said my cat was a "text book" case for hyperthyroidism. We started the cat on medication and he's looking much better. My son takes his animals to Dr. Judy and now my Mom is coming all the way from San Diego to Dr. Judy. I guess you can say Dr. Judy is the families' VET!

I had to wait an hour to see him.

Dr. Judy has been my vet for 20+ years. He and his staff have always been outstanding, they have always provided knowledgable, compassionate care at fair prices through all stages of my dogs lives and there have been many. We have been through numerous cancers, a heart problem , torn cruciate ligaments , spays, and neuter, dog fights etc. pretty much anything 20 years of dog ownership can throw at you. Through all of that I could never have asked for a Better vet or a better office staff and I would Highly recommend them to anyone that wants great care for their pets.

Dr. David Judy loves animals. People can really see that he is passionate about it. He's a nice man and his staff is wonderful. My cat wasn't feeling well the other day and I called them. They helped me through it over the phone. I give him top grades.

They gave him medication from the vet. They let me on credit. The staff is very friendly and pricing is reasonable.

We have been taking our dogs here for years. It's worth the 25 minute drive. The staff and doctor love animals. They take their time with our dogs. They are friendly, accommodating and knowledgable about bulldogs.

The staff is very nice there. I was very pleased with them. I had an excellent experience.

Dr. Judy is very thorough and very knowledgeable in her work. I ve never had to wait too long for them to fit me in the schedule. The price is really fair as well and I would recommend them to others.

I HAVE GONE TO DR. JUDY FOR YEARS, AND HE IS BY FAR THE BEST. THE SERVICE HE DID FOR MY KITTEN THAT DAY WAS GREAT AS USUAL, AND I WOULD REFER HIM TO ANYBODY I KNOW THAT HAS PETS.

WHEN CALLING, I WAS PLEASED WITH THE TIME IT TOOK TO MAKE AN APPOINTMENT AND WHEN GETTING TO THE OFFICE IT WAS CLEAN AND HAD A NICE FEELING TO IT. THE WAIT TIME WAS MINIMAL AND WHEN TAKING HER INTO AN EXAMINATION ROOM IT WAS CLEAN AND WELL STOCKED.

EXCELLENT, I ADORE DR. DAVID JUDY, HE LOVES ANIMALS SO MUCH, AND HE TAKES THE TIME TO REALLY TALK AND LISTEN WITH YOU, HE DOES THE BEST FOR EACH PET. THE OFFICE STAFF IS FABULOUS, SO GLAD I HAVE THEM TO TAKE CARE OF MY DOGS.

DR. JUDY AND ALL HIS STAFF WERE VERY FRIENDLY AND PROMPT. THEY MADE ME AND MY PET FEEL COMFORTABLE.

I HAVE USED DR. JUDY FOR THE LAST 20 YEARS. THE LAST 17 YEARS IN HIS OWN PRACTICE. HIS PRICE IS IN THE MIDDLE FOR OUR AREA. HE IS A WONDERFUL AT DIAGNOSIS, KEEPS UP TO DATE ON NEW INFORMATION, AND HAS EXPERIENCE WITH LARGE AND SMALL ANIMALS, ALTHOUGH HIS PRESENT PRACTICE IS SMALL ANIMAL CARE. A CARING, WONDERFUL VET!!!

THEY WERE VERY CARING TO MY CATS. I DIDN'T HAVE TO WAIT LONG IN THE WAITING ROOM. I WAS ABLE TO GET AN APPOINTMENT WHEN IT WAS CONVENIENT FOR ME.

THEY WERE VERY FRIENDLY AND GOOD WITH OUR PET. I LIKED THE ATMOSPHERE IN THEIR OFFICE. I WOULD RECOMMEND THEM TO ANYONE.
