Hurn Mechanical Heating & Cooling

For two years we've been struggling with a weird issue with our HVAC system. The fan would not work independently of heat or air conditioning. We had two other companies here to diagnose and solve the problem, costing us hundreds of dollars with no resolution. We talked to Hurn Mechanical Heating & Cooling about installing an air ionizing scrubber and mentioned the fan problem. Robert M. at HURN went above and beyond. Care and accuracy was taken even while trying to remain quiet with two sleeping kids upstairs. We installed a Phenomenal Aire Series R 6.0 and had an extreme difference immediately. The air in our home is crips, feels noticeably cleaner to breathe, and was worth every penny. It's one of the only systems on the market that objectively improves indoor air quality without replacement parts or 'consumables' that wear out over time. The install is super clean, you can't even really tell it's there. When he was finished with his work, he cleaned up everything spotless and put things back where they were while gaining access to the HVAC system for install and troubleshooting of the wiring problem. So, all in all, after 2 years - we now have a fully functional AC / Heat / Fan system thanks to Robert. They showed up on time, delivered exactly what they said they would cleaned up nicely, and were cost-effective. Overall, the process was very smooth, and we are incredibly happy with the team and their work. I highly recommend the Hurn Mechanical Heating & Cooling. I had two air conditioners. I had one done in August of last year and another in December where they serviced. They found errors in things that another company was going to charge me for unnecessary repairs. The other company was going to charge me some like $2,400 and I ended up paying $348 with Hurn. I got the same stuff and I had the city come out and certify it, so they did a great job. Now, I have them doing my annual maintenance on my two air conditioners. In fact, my daughter and son in law, their air conditioner went. So, they actually hired them to come out. They got instead of $6,000 or $7,000 for the three-ton install with all the permits and everything was $3.600. So, they did a really good job. This is the first time somebody was honest with me. The guy went out his way to fix some errors that the guy from the other company had done. They were very, very fair. Quality also was excellent. They were on time. They called ahead of time, told me they were running early. He sent a picture, when he knocked on the door I knew who he was. He was very professional and I was his last appointment of the day, so he was pretty tired and dirty after flopping and stuff all day. So, I'll give him a 9, he wasn't fresh!

Arrived on time.  Did not try to find more "problems" but attended to the need  to get my AC working well after some years of my neglect.  Also gave good advice to properly care for an AC.

They were thorough, precise, and neat. They came back to make sure everything was done the way it was suppose to be done.

They are a family run business. They were so personal when they came out. He was fantastic. I had to call them to come back out and check out my air conditioning units. They did not charge for that visits which was nice. I give them straight A?s for their service. I would use them again in the future.
