I am normally absolutely in love with the staff at ECCVH and can't even believe I am having to write this (I joined this website to specifically leave this review). I have taken all my pets there and they are normally phenomenal, no doubt because I have always seen Dr Aaron Rhodes. I took my dog in today, but he was not on service so I saw a different provider, Dr Mosley. I have to say I am honestly speechless with the way she not only talked to me, but also how she presented herself, and made her medical diagnosis. My dog has itchy skin which is pretty common for Aussies and he visits the vet about once a year for this particular problem. Normally the doc just looks at the hot spot lesions and gives me supportive care ideas and meds if they are needed. This time was a completely different story. Dr Mosley busted in the room (didn't introduce herself, said she's seen my dog before) obviously in a rush and began to immediately hurl accusations at me because she had gotten all her "information" from my dogs record in the computer, without even laying an eye or hand on my dog. She instantly accused me of not providing flea medicine to my dog because she didn't see it in his chart, but instead of asking about it, she just told me that had to be why he had sacral hot spots. I attempted to explain that I get the flea prescription for both my dogs through the front desk there and that the front desk splits it between the two dogs, but puts it under my other dogs chart so it wouldn't show up in the Aussie's chart. She acted like I was crazy, as if that couldn't possibly happen. Hey, its your office's practice, not mine! So then she proceeded to examine my dog and continually said flippant and ridiculously rude comments about his skin. I KNOW! THAT'S WHY I BROUGHT HIM IN. Then I had her look at his ear because it had a yellow drainage for a few days and told her I was using ear flush to clean it out like I had been told to by her office in the past, she immediately interrupted me and said, well flushing ears doesn't get rid of yeast? Really? I'm glad she used her medical degree to clue me into that blatantly obvious fact. This is the point where I am so astounded at her behavior that I reconsider getting increasingly ****** off throughout this visit and telling her about it and absolutely wonder if she is really that bad at her job (talking to pet parents with a modicum of respect should be a basic skill as a vet) or if she just honestly is that much of a jerk as a person to everyone all the time. She then says, well he must have bad allergies that are making his skin bad. What happened to the flea theory? Kind of dropped that once I clued her in to the fact that he does get his monthly flea meds. She gave him meds in his ear for the drainage which is fine and we also walked out with 30 days worth of allergy pills. I will never ever deal with her again. She might get away with treating people the way she does because she's not a human medical doctor, but she is way out of line with her terrible attitude, poor bedside manner and methods to obtain her diagnosis. I highly suggest you see any other provider at this business. This is a specific review regarding Dr Mosley's care of my dog. All other services received here have been outstanding.

Rather than talk to me AT ANY POINT during this.. The management just had my review removed from Yelp instead.Im sure ill get banned from here too, but If management isnt going to reach out to me (my MULTIPLE attempts have been unanswered) Im going to do everything in my power to leave my experiences on every since website available to warn as many people as I can. Just gunna delete it? Don't worry, I have a copy. BBB will be next if you choose to ignore me. This is my personal story of the worst customer service i have ever experienced. Here is my removed Yelp Review:"I have honestly never been so appalled by customer service in my entire life.I feel very strongly that I need to share this story so people and the management know what they are dealing with. Whether the girl that talked to me was having a bad day or not, there was NO excuse for what we just went through. Tensions were high and everyone involved lost.
My best friend took his cat in here to be euthanized today. His wife had called ahead for prices and an understanding of the procedure but did not go with him to the clinic. When he got to the clinic he was told different information and had to call his wife to confirm what they wanted to do since it didn't match. (Aka the price went up AND the body was coming home with us if we didn't pay for even more services.. Which is fine, we just weren't told initially!)The receptionist at this point decided to help the next customer rather than finish helping my friend and his wife understand what was happening.
Mind you, this is about a euthanasia!
I called them on the phone explaining that my friend was in their lobby and was getting passed over for another customer while he was trying really hard to understand his cats situation. The woman on the line instantly got defensive (i think her name was Shannon). And the first words out of her mouth were "i don't have any idea what you're talking about" in a condescending tone. I explained again that i was calling because i was trying to help my friend who was there for a euthanasia and this is the situation..She said something snarky back to me and by that time i was livid. I finally stopped explaining and said all I'm asking is that my friend is treated respectfully while he was there because he was having a rough time. The woman's response was "you don't know me" because she "is the most empathetic person" i'd ever meet l, and "didn't know what my problem was".She then proceeds to pull the phone away from her ear and start talking to another girl next to her about me saying "i don't know what her problem is shes just yelling and screaming at me...etc etc" without even hiding the fact that she was talking crap in full ear shot of me. I hung up and called back, the same girl answered but didn't say her name this time, heard my voice and instantly hung up.I called AGAIN, this time a different person answered the phone saying only "heeello??" With no business greeting or name, so i said "id like to speak with a supervisor please" she chuckled and said "yea, you're not going to be speaking to a supervisor anytime soon" i said I would wait on hold for a supervisor, and was cheerfully told "Sure!" You can bet I did NOT get to speak to a supervisor.
I left it alone then, after FOUR failed attempts to get some answers because my friend was still there and they were all making such a joke out of me i knew he could hear them (and he did.)
I found out that they did in fact harass him a bit more after i called, as i'd worried. They cornered him as he was saying goodbye to his cat, tears rolling down his cheeks and started asking him questions like if they were making him feel disrespected or not.
I am shocked. Honestly sick to my stomach. My heart is broken over the loss of an awesome cat, and shattered with how it all ended. He walked out of there with no cat, no ashes, no paw print, no solace. We are worried there is so little integrity with this place that our minds can not help but worry that our beloved little dude is just sitting in a trash can out of spite and no accountability. I hate that my friends are having those thoughts.
To be treated this way on a normal day would have blown me away, but these women all knowing full well what kind of day we were dealing with? To not be given an ounce of respect at any point? It makes me glad my involvement happened over the phone and not in person.Shame on you guys. Absolutely sickening experience. Never again will any of us make the mistake of taking our animals there. No chance Ill be taking my dog back ever again. We miss retired Dr. Paulson even more, he was the best vet ever."

We had to take all three cats in at once.  It was a little over a month ago.  They had a deal on certain day that you could get 20% off.  He is kind to the owner and animal.  He helped me take care of my 18 year old cat.

Dr. Mosca provided veterinary service for my cat (diagnosing and removing a cancerous tumor) and for my dog (dental work) and he was terrific.  I have gone to this clinic for decades. Recently, my primary vet (Dr. Paulson) retired and I was worried about how it would be run when he was no longer there.  Well, if Dr. Mosca is any indication, my pets are still in good hands.  It wasn't just him.  I had to board my animals and they came out looking relaxed and energetic.  The staff is generally very good and helpful.  My cat's surgery went well and he is healing without problems.  I am very happy with the service I received.  I will return.

They are amazing. I've been using them since since 1972 and I love the place and people, and I love Dr. Paulson in particular. He's the one I love to see. He and I have grown old together and he has taken care of all my animals over the years. I've been to a couple of places before and I have always gone back to them.

The office manager, Linda, should be put out on the street. When I called her to discuss a few issues of concern such as one of the Vets discussing my pets lab results and medical issues in the waiting room around other people and a ridiculous $20 fee for clipping the hair around my dog's genital area, when it costs me $45 to have the dog completely groomed! She was unconcerned and unsympathetic.
Another visit, I asked the receptionist to have the Vet call my dog's prescription into Walmart and I provided the number. I later drove to Walmart and they never called it in, the next day I called and asked why it wasn't called in and they told me they had the med cheaper. I was upset because it was easier for me to go to Walmart than to drive to the Vet. They could have at least informed they weren't going to call it in. There were several others issues with this Vet, I wouldn't recommend them to anyone.

The walk-in only part is a little unnerving, probably because I'm not used to such things at my local vet. But we had no problems with checking in and were seen promptly. All of the staff from the veterinarians to the techs to the desk staff are professional, knowledgable, straightforward and compassionate in the care they provided to us and our cats. I don't know how the cost compares to other veterinary practices, but given the high quality of service we received, we see no need to attempt price-shopping elsewhere. We will definitely use them again.

It went fine. We got what we went for and it has helped. She also gave us a period of two weeks to try the antihistamines and if they didn't work out during that time and we wanted a shot for him, we could come back with no office visit fee. I've always had full confidence taking my pets here. They're a great group of people.

I've been using their service for two years now and they are very good. I feel they are the best company that is listed on Angie's List. If you would take your puppies there, you would call and thank me for recommending them. I recommend them to any and everyone.

DOG CAME HOME HEALTHY, HAPPY AND CLEAN ON MONDAY MORNING. NO STRESS. THEY LOVE MY ANIMALS LIKE I DO. THEY ASK THAT I LEAVE ITEMS TO MAKE THE DOG FEEL AT HOME, FAVORITE TOYS. THEY ARE CONCERNED ABOUT TYPE OF FOOD MY DOG EATS AND WHEN TO KEEP HIM ON A CONSISTENT SCHEDULE.
