El Cajon Ford

I don't like them. It was a classic take your car in and they try to charge you for a bunch of stuff that is wrong but is not. They said they had a part but then said no they didn't. They didn't know whether my vehicle had struts or shocks. I just think they are dishonest. I didn't have it done there, but they were going to charge like 4-500 dollars. I just took it in for the oil change. They told me one thing and jacked the price up, they told me they had parts and then didn't have them again. The price for an oil change was not bad, it was on a special.

I will not be going back no matter how close they are to my house.

Took my 2003 Ranger in with a misfire / check engine light. The service writer was excellent, very fast check in, called with the diagnostic results and price when they said they would. I gave them the go ahead on the repairs, they called me earlier than estimated to say the truck was ready for pick up. Their prices are very competitive with other shops and their workmanship is excellent. I have been going to El Cajon for years because the do the job right, get it done on time and at a reasonable cost using OEM Ford parts. I highly recommend them!

It was fine, there were no problems. The service was excellent. It didn't cost me anything because it was part of my agreement with them.

It was a really frustrating experience. They barely stood by the factor warranty on the transmission that I purchased, this was the second time I have had it replaced in six months. They tried to charge me for repairs to the truck that where nothing to do with the transmission and it was like pulling teeth to get them to stand by the warranty. I will never go back.

They recommended the car that best suited my family and gave us a warranty. They are trustworthy and their salespeople were knowledgeable and did what was best for us. You could tell that they weren't making things up and that they were being straight forward.

MY OVERALL EXPERIENCE WAS GOOD. THEY SURPRISED ME WITH THE COST BEING LOWER THAN THEY ESTIMATED. THEY SERVICED MY TRANSMISSION, REPLACED BELTS AND HOSES. FLUSHED THE RADIATOR AND COOLANT.

THEY WOULD NOT HONOR WARRANTY ON VEHICLE AND I AM FORCED TO PAY FOR A REBUILT ENGINE.

THIS FORD DEALER IS THE DEALER I GO TO FOR MY CAR. AFTER HAVING BEEN IN AN ACCIDENT, THEY FIXED IT PROMPTLY, BUT WERE HORRIBLE ON CALLING ME BACK. I HAD TO CALL THEM TO ASK IF MY CAR WAS FINISHED.

MY HUSBANDS TRUCK BROKE DOWN ON THE WAY TO WORK ON 7/28/04. THE TRUCK WAS TOWED TO EL CAJON FORD. A SERVICE ADVISOR MET ME IMMEDIATELY AND RECORDED THE SYMPTOMS. THE VEHICLE WAS REPAIRED WITHIN TWO HOURS, WHICH WAS IMPORTANT, BECAUSE IT IS A VEHICLE THAT IS USED FOR WORK, AND WITHOUT THE TRUCK WE MAKE NO MONEY!
