Matt installed 4 exterior light fixtures. He replaced the damaged cut-in box before installing one of the fixtures. He also installed timer switches for all the lights. We were so impressed with his work that we contracted with Matt to return another day and install 2 dimmer switches and an timer switch for interior lights. Matt had to change the wall wiring before he could install the timer switch. This required him to remove a piece of drywall; Matt repaired the resulting hole in the drywall. We were impressed with Matt's high quality work, professionalism, and friendly manner.

The breaker for my home's A/C switched off and couldn't be turned back on. The electrician found that the old breaker was damaged, fixed it, and I had A/C for the hot afternoon,

very pleasant experience from start to finish. Matt did a great job. Took the extra effort to make sure it turned out nice.

Project went as expected- they explained what they had to do and why.

The representative arrived promptly to do an inspection of a house we were considering buying. They did a very through inspection and gave us a very detailed report on all the problems they noted. We decided not to buy the house.

I called early on Sunday morning before the Thanksgiving holiday as power was gone when I woke up. My phone call was answered immediately and I was soon called back by on call electrician. I was really impressed by the efficiency. I received a call within 10 minutes by the very pleasant electrician and he said he was on his way. Upon arrival, he quickly diagnosed the problem, a bad breaker part, but did not have the exact parton his truck. He drove back to shop and quickly returned with proper part. Power was restored and everything was working properly. I appreciated that he was so thorough and really checked that everything was working before he left. I thought the price was very fair and it came out less than I guessed, with Angie's List discount. What could have been a horrendous start to holiday week turned out to be a very positive experience and I found a reliable electrical source.

They brought all of our outdoor lighting up to code. They are very prompt, they were very fair, and also very clean. They did the work on time. I have nothing negative to say about!

Lost power in master bedroom and bath (and it was more than just the breaker). Called El Cajon Electric and they were able to send someone out promptly the next morning. Couldn't have been more impressed. Matt was very professional, courteous and personable. In the course of troubleshooting the source of the problem, he found some sloppy/potentially hazardous wiring that was done by someone in the past. Was able to make it safe and corrected the current problem. Explained everything along the way, and didn't mind my looking over his shoulder. :) Charge was very reasonable and I wouldn't hesitate to call them in the future for any electrical problem.

The electricians arrived on time on all but one day. Dana and Mark arrived before I left for work and were gone when I came home. They always locked up before leaving and left the house clean. They performed all work agreed upon in the amount of time promised (4 days). They were professional and polite. I feel they were honest and really tried to do all work in the most economical way possible. I highly recommend them!

We had no problems with them. They were great and I was pleased with the service. The price was great and they were hard working as well. They have a great company and everything is done correctly the first time. I really trust them.

The lead electrician (Bill) who came out (with a helper) was extremely well informed on ways to solve my various issues. He solved issues that other electricians I had out couldn't solve. I was very pleased with the service. They were very professional, worked quickly, and were a pleasure to work with. The price was fair and they responded immediately to my call for service. I would highly recommend this company. Ask for Bill.

This company hung a dangerously low, wobbly ceiling fan in master bedroom right over the bed. I was promised patched "paint ready" stucco by the installer who trashed my new hardwood flooring by not putting protective paper down. He gouged holes in walls, & put no patching material that shrank & became indented. Matthew, the owner's grandson or son came out, apologized profusely, & promised El Cajon Electric would pay for all patching needed for my drywall. I hired someone, purchased materials, & had the holes puttied, sanded down, texture coated, & painted to look like the rest of the wall. I contacted El Cajon Electric for payment & was told by the owner that they refused to keep their word and pay for damages. They changed the rules, now saying they don't make promises to have drywall "paint ready" because they messed up my walls so bad. It took me three days to scrape the drywall dust out of the groves all over my hard wood floors. Then I took them to court for damages!!!

Excellent experience. Matt called to confirm the directions and then again from the driveway to announce his arrival. Very polite. Very positive experience.

Bill was on-time, polite, and professional. The charge was high since the company charged for travel time.

IT ONLY TOOK THEM ABOUT AN HOUR AND A HALF TO DO THE JOB. WE HAVEN'T RECEIVED THE BILL YET, IT'S ONLY BEEN A WEEK. HE SAID IT WOULD BE UNDER $250.00.

THEY INSTALLED NEW BREAKER BOX, WAS RIGHT ON TIME. THE TECH WAS NOT VERY POLITE.

WE CONTINUE TO USE EL CAJON ELECTRIC BECAUSE OF THE EXCELLENT SERVICE, PRICE AND PROFESSIONALISM. THEY ARE ACCURATE ON PRICE AND CONTINUE TO GO OUT OF THE WAY TO SATISFY THE CUSTOMER. THERE HAVE BEEN MANY INSTANCES THROUGHOUT THE YEARS WERE THE BEST SOLUTION WAS NOT THE MOST EXPENSIVE. QUALITY IS THEIR TRADEMARK.
