What he did was worth the price.  I'm still waiting for an estimate that he said he would provide to re-paper/seal a section of the roof.

have used John twice before with great results.  Currently, I have a commercial deck that needed water proofing.  John walked my crew through what they needed to do to be ready for John.  John was ready and performed job at time of request.  No delays.  I did contact other roofers for competing bids.  He was lower than all of them and available on a much better time frame.
John ia simply honest, hard working and ethical.  I only get competing bids now to prove to my boss that he is reasonably priced and doing what is necessary.

The crew started right on time.  They worked diligently through out the day, doing a very good job of repairing my roof leak.  When they were finished my yard was cleaned to the point that you would never had known they were there.  The cost of the repair was very reasonable for the work that was done.  I will recommend East County Roofing to all of my neighbors.

Douglas Roof Removal crew did the tear off. John was here for the start of the tear off. John and his crew came in right after the tear off and started the Reroof. Work was completed in two days. Extra work was done in a couple of areas. John was very professional and explained everything. Would definitely recommend to other users.

Old roof removal was done by Douglas Roof Removal. Was removed in less than 4 hours. As soon as the removal was finished, John Westcott and his crew from East County Roofing started installing the new roof. Was completed in two days. John is very good to work with. Answered all our questions and work was performed in a professional manner. Even though extra work was done his estimate was less than other roofers that we had give us a quote. We are very satisfied and would definitely use John and East County Roofing again. Highly recommend to anyone considering using them.

I manage a commercial property on Greenfield Drive in El Cajon that East County Roofing ,John and his crew reroofed in February 2013. This building had a problem with the drains being two inches too high and thus would pool water around all 6 drains.  This is where the leaks were in the past.  Besides his bid to reroof, he also included and correctly repaired the drains for the water to roll off the roof.  It works excellent, no more water standing on the roof.  The entire job from John's bid including the repairs came in under the two competing bids that had no intentions of making the repair, just replace the roofing material.  The crew also added solar vents to the roof which has increase the energy efficiency of the building. The crew did a great job and they all speak English, as their first language, how refreshing.
So in march, I had them reroof a house in Lakeside for me as well.  just as happy results.  Bid beat all the competition and was again a great job by the crew. He has a crew of 4 regular that all have been working together for years it appears.  Very organized, very clean and enjoying their work.  Very refreshing
East County Roofing of San Diego is a great roofing company.  I am concerned about overstating how happy I am with them and giving the impression I am affilliated with them in any way.  That's not the case, occasionally a company comes a long that is just really impressive.

I received an estimate to repair my garage roof.  Which after an examination was all that was required on my residence.  I was told that the rest of the roof should give me years of service and didn't require replacement.  He did recommend that a seal be put around the vents.  This was recommended as the correct mastic hadn't been around at the time the original roof was put on.  The discrepant area was removed, and a new piece of plywood was installed the new facia affixed.  And then the torchdown put down.  They did a very good job of cleaning up behind themselves.  And I was satisfied that I received a quality repair for a reasonable price.  I would call John Wescott for any further replacement or repairs.  And would recommend him to anyone.
