I called and was given a thirty dollar estimate. My husband brought it in and was told it would be ready in a week. After two To three weeks my husband returned and was told it was either lost or the work had not been completed. WHAT? He was told to return in a week. Over a week has passed again and when called my husband was told it wasn't ready. He was told that they were very busy. Ah, NOT MY PROBLEM! He was told it will be ready tomorrow at noon. Really? I'll believe it when I see it. This is the first and last this guy will see from me and mine. My husband asked for a discount and was flat told no. Wonder how this guy stays in business. He originally tried to sell buffing the outside of the briefcase, both over the phone with me, and in person with my husband. I would guess that would be another month.

I did not comment on quality or workmanship, because I have yet to see my briefcase. Find another leather repair, unless you're good with leaving your stuff for an undetermined return... If returned at all.

I returned to pick the shoes up several days after I was told  they were to be done and they were not ready.  I went in a second time after being told they would be done and they were still not ready. This was very frustrating due to my time and gas expended.  We needed the shoes mailed for  the wedding and I was frustrated in explaining our time issue again. I found it frustrating that he would not call about the delay and did not seem concerned about our need.
When they were finally ready for pick up, I was not pleased with the end result.  The spot did not pull out and so he dyed a large square on the top of the shoe and the color did not match, not even the tone of the color was the same as the shoe.  He said he spent a lot of time and that it was difficult and offered to  remove the dye but the spot would be very noticeable.  At that point I was nervous about what it would look like without the dye. He was not willing to redo the dye and stated  it was the best he could do. He also stated that perhaps with time and multiple waxings it would blend in.  Not the result I had expected and not the customer service I had hoped for.

HAVE BEEN USING HIM FOR YEARS. WORK IS ALMOST ALWAYS DONE ON TIME. HAS REPAIRED BELTS FOR MY WIFE. HAS A GOOD SELECTION OF SHOE CARE PRODUCTS. REASONABLE RATES.

QUALITY OF WORK IS GREAT-CANNOT SEE WHERE REPAIR WAS DONE. ALSO REINFORCED OTHER STRAP.

THEY DO TAKE A LITTLE TIME TO MAKE THE REPAIR, BUT THE WAIT IS OFFSET BY THE QUALITY.
