Atlas Footing Repair Inc
About us
We are a woman-owned foundation repair company serving the San Diego County area since 1991. We currently have 9 full-time employees, some of which have been with us for over 15 years! We utilize subcontractors, such as electricians and concrete pumpers; however, most of our work is performed by our own permanent employees. Our license number is 622523. We provide FREE estimates. Anyone can call our office and request an inspection. Once the owner, Jan Fisher, inspects the property visually, she prepares a written proposal and scope of work. These documents usually get emailed to the client the same day as the inspection. We offer a 5% discount to members of our military.

The crew was amazing - polite, punctual, fast ... and cleaned the work site on a daily basis.
The work was completed on time and appears solid and the home looks no the worse for wear after having a quarter of the foundation removed and replaced.
I would use Atlas again.
I had obtained 3 bids for necessary foundation (pier and beam) to my 1924 bungalow, and the owner of Atlas, Jan, had by far the most expenisive and drastic in scope bids, over $50K, and recommending that my whole front porch also be repoured (stucco overstructure! and tile not included). I've had varying opinions on installing the French drain, most contractors did not recommend it, but I needed the sump pump replaced right away and had already sent a 10% deposit of $420 to start the above work, which I'm sure now I could have gotten done much more economically.
It's an interesting observation, that when I invited the owner into my home to discuss the work needed, she commented on what a nice dining room table I had, and I'm suspicious that she decided to charge me extra, as the other two bids were less than $20K (vs $50K, quite a difference!!!). I don't trust her now.
