lawn mower repair
 + -1 moreWhile taking off the air filter I noticed that the choke was closed while the throttle postion indicated the choke should be open. I applied a small amount of presure on the linkage with my fingers, the choke opened and was again engaged with the throttle. In disbelief I started the mower, drove it off of the trailer and mowed my property without a problem. I contacted AA Equipment asking for my $50.00 to be returned as I felt they did not perform any diagnostic services. After a few voice messages and 'oh sorry he's not here right now' conversations I concluded that it was not incompetence but outright fraud that occurred. I have asked AA Equipment for the return of my $50.00, an apology, assurance that all of the services they have performed for me in the past were needed and some kind of corrective action to prevent this from occurring in the future. My expectations are low that any of these requests will be met so my intent now is to spread the word on the fraudulent business practices at AA Equipment in El Cajon CA so that others will not be ripped off like I was.
Description of Work: I dropped off my riding mower for service, it would not start. I was told by the service manager that he would call me once they determined what the problem was. I was called a few days later and told that the carburetor needed to be replaced at a cost of nearly $300.00. Not having the money to spend on this repair I picked up my mower and took it home. At my house I began to take off the carburetor with the intent of having it rebuilt.
