I hired R.F. Construction (License #1025803) to replace 6 interior doors. I paid $3,000 for labor and personally purchased $4,000 in new pre-hung doors. The contractor demanded repeated upfront payments and then proceeded to damage the doors and cut the door frames 4 inches too short, making them unusable. He then abandoned the job, disconnected his phone, and reportedly left the country. I have no way to reach him. This was not just poor workmanship — it was a bait-and-switch situation, and possibly fraudulent. What makes this worse is that the Angi profile is misleading. It shows reviews tied to the company’s former owners, who left for Iran. This individual took over the name and license, but the work and conduct do not reflect those past reviews at all. What I want: A full refund of $3,000 for labor. The work was not just incomplete — it caused damage I now have to repair at my own expense. I’m also considering filing a complaint with the California State License Board and pursuing legal action if this is not resolved.

Ramin did a great job on my re-caulking and he also re-built by outdoor utility door and did a pretty good job. Ramin's work is professional and he works very fast.
