I wish I could report I had a positive experience. I called Dave today to check on my sewing machine. It was at Dublin Sewing Center for the second time within a months time. Four days ago he told me he'd look at Friday. I hadn't heard from Dave so I called asking about the status of my machine inspection. He tells me he hadn't even looked at my machine. Despite the lady I'd seen and the 2 repair technicians Dave told me were there, he claimed to be overwhelmed because he was working alone. I guess I wasn't supposed to question Dave about the missed commitment because he angrily slammed down the phone while yelling out ******! When I picked my machine up, Dave profusely apologized. However, in this day and age and given recent events surrounding race relations in the US, it's deeply disturbing that he instinctively hurls racial insults.
Description of Work: Repair stitch issues with a Bernina sewing machine and a general servicing.

The person at the shop showed me how to adjust the thread to correct the problem. I guess that because my machine is so old, the thread wasn't seating properly in the tension control. They didn't do anything to the machine and didn't charge me. I appreciate their honesty in showing me the solution. I will definitely go back when my machine needs servicing.
Description of Work: The tension on my machine wasn't working properly. I took the machine in for repair.

Very well. Recommended to me. Good experience.
Description of Work: Went in to ask about repairing my 40 year old sewing machine. I thought I might buy a new one instead which I did. They were not pushy, very matter of fact, and I ended up with a new Baby Lock machine with free classes on how to use my new digital machine.

Excellent. I was very pleased to not have to pay for a tuneup or repair.
Description of Work: Dublin Sewing Center looked at the machine I brought in for repair, quickly assessed the problem, and told me that no tuneup was needed and the machine was not broken, and that a switch was in the wrong position for sewing.

THE GENTLEMEN WAS KNOWLEDGEABLE ABOUT MY SEWING MACHINE AND EXPLAINED IN DETAIL THE WORK THAT NEEDED TO BE DONE ON MY MACHINE. THEY TOLD ME THE APPROXIMATE COST AND CAME IN UNDER THAT PRICE.
Description of Work: THE TOOK MY OLD SEWING MACHINE IN FOR A TOTAL OVERHAUL. THE MACHINE HAD NOT BEEN CLEANED IN SEVERAL YEARS.

I USE MY MACHINE DAILY AND THEY CLEAN AND OIL AND MAINTAIN THE MACHINE EACH DECEMBER. THIS MACHINE IS A WORK HORSE FOR ME AND I TRUST THEM TO KEEP IT UP. I HAVE ALSO HAD THEM WORK ON 2 OLD KENMORE'S (JANUARY 2005) AND THE WORK HAS BEEN EXCELLENT.
Description of Work: YEARLY SERVICE ON SINGER SEWING MACHINE. I HAVE THIS MACHINE SERVICED EVERY DECEMBER. THEY HAVE ALSO WORKED ON 2 KENMORE MACHINES THAT I OWN. A BROTHER MACHINE WILL BE GOING IN FOR REPAIR IN THE NEXT MONTH.

THEY DID A GREAT JOB ON MY SEWING MACHINE. THE MACHINE IS GETTING OLD, BUT THEY HAVE BEEN ABLE TO REPLACE ALL THE BROKEN DOWN ITEMS AND IT STILL RUNS PERFECTLY.

THEY WERE VERY THOROUGH & COMPLETED THE JOB AS PROMISED. I WAS SATISFIED WITH THEIR QUICK TURN-AROUND. THE QUOTE WAS ACCURATE & I WILL USE THEM AGAIN.

I TOOK MY MACHINE TO DUBLIN SEWING CENTER AND THEY WERE ABLE TO FIX THE TENSION IN A VERY FAST WAY. THEY CLEANED THE BOBBIN AREA AND HAD THE MACHINE READY TO GO IN JUST UNDER 30 MINUTES.
