STARVING STUDENTS

The experience was very upsetting. I was given 2 movers. 1 spoke very little English and was upset about a check he received that morning. The other was a nice young man who took verbal abuse the whole time from the other. Neither were able to explain the paperwork to me and in fact had me sign things after the move. They damaged an amour. Moved my appliances without strapping them down which had them slam to the ground when they tried to lower them. The unloading was just as bad. I instructed them how to stack in storage and would leave to go get an item as they were moving very slowly. I'd come back to items packed in a completely different way. It would take too much time to change so I would build on that. The whole process took 4 1/2 hours. I had damaged furniture and banged around appliances packed improperly. When I called for compensation I was offered 1 hour of free labor to reorganize ($139). I didn't need that so they only gave me $50 back. What an insult.
