Mark has been our gardener since 2016 and does a wonderful job. He's very dependable and reliable.

Well. We would hire them back but we moved and no longer need a lawn service.

Mark and his team were great. Quick response time and a professional crew. We used them for a small project and then re-hired them for a large demo project. They were excellent both times and we will hire them again.

Very well. Fair price. Came when they said they would and did what they promised to do.

I used them for several years and was always happy with them.

He's very professional and easy to get a hold of and communicate with if there's something that we need looked at. He's easy to work with, always on time, and takes care of the little extras in the yard. It's $85 a month for him to come out every two weeks. So far, we haven't had any issues with him.

I am very pleased with my lawn service.  They have always responded to my emails and inquiries within a day or so. 
Recently, I asked them to help me trim back all the hedges and bushes away from the house to prepare for exterior house painting.  They were very accomodating and completed my request in time for the painters.  I was on a very tight schedule so I greatly appreciated all their hard work and willingness to help me. 
My mom is now also using Martinez Gardening for her monthly lawn care.  Her lawn will be a challenge so we hope Martinez Gardening can make her lawn look beautiful as well.  I would recommend Martinez Gardening to more of my friends and family.

He is great! He is a AAA as far as I'm concerned. They come in and do their job, their team works together like clockwork.

I hired this company one year ago.  They were to take care of all gardening needs for a 1/2 acre property.  Things started out okay, however, they just became the standard mow and blow gardeners.  They allowed the grass to grow over the tops of the sprinkler heads.  I now have huge dead patches of grass in the yard.  Weeding was nonexistent.  Trimming was not done unless I yelled at them.  They allowed crab grass to overtake a flowerbed on the street side of my property, thereby killing all of my Star Jasmine.  They incorrectly pruned roses but did not trim the tree roses or Azaleas.  They missed quite a few days and expected to be paid for those days.  One excuse was they weren't used to the "time change".  Another excuse was that since it had rained in the morning (but not in the afternoon) they didn't want to slip and fall in the yard.  Lots of ridiculous excuses.  They came twice a week every week, however, the yard still looked shabby.  The owner would promise to do certain things in the yard, and then would never perform those tasks.  He just told me what I wanted to hear. I wouldn't recommend these people to take care of anything.  Save your money and look elsewhere.

He was pretty good. He did a good job.

Mark is a responsive gardener who is easy to communicate with over the telephone and even through email. Quality of work is not as good when he is not present personally for the weekly services. When he was married and on vacation, his crew did not show up at all. He  will also perform extra work for a fee but prices for certain jobs such as tree trimming may not be as competitive as professional tree trimmers. Overall I am pleased with his services.

In this area, most of the people who say they're gardeners are the 'mow, blow, & go' types. Martinez attends to the little details that other companies didn't seem to understand or want to do, such as cleaning up a shrub hanging over a sidewalk or quickly pulling up weeds in a flower bed.

My previous gardener of 20 years began to take advantage of his longevity and began to do less with each visit. Last straw was when he  cut the heads off 11 sprinklers with out informing me.  Woke up to find several Old Faithful mini geysers in my yard. Called Mark as he was leaving on his honeymoon and he promptly came out to make an estimate. the very day he returned. Though he is based in Duarte and I'm  in La Crecenta he said nothing about travel time. He and his crew are excellent!

I continue to use him on a weekly basis. He seems to be pretty thorough and sticks with the price that he quotes. he is really easy to communicate with. I am very satisfied so far.

They've been great, they do extra stuff when I want them to. I've been very happy with them, and I've been using them for three years.

I like the fact that they remember what I tell them to do, they do a nice job of edging and mowing, and they are easy to communicate with.  I email back and forth with them and it is easy to get hold of them.  I think the price is comparable to the size of my yard.

We contacted Mark for an estimate, he returned our call and came to our house within a few days to provide an estimate.  Since part of our work required the trimming of 2 oak trees, he sent his tree specialist out to take a look.  We received a total estimate within a day or so and scheduled the service.  Mark was professional and courteous and the day the work was to be done, Mark and his crew showed up on time and ready to work.  They worked non-stop on a blistering hot day and were very professional and polite.  They were extremely thorough and cleaned up everything immaculately.   They took the time to shape our trees nicely and didn't just chop away at everything speedily.  We have had other companies just hack away to get the job done as quickly as possible.  We were very pleased and will definitely hire them again.

Mark, the owner, showed up on time and gave me an accurate estimate. They do thorough work and all of the workers are polite and professional.

I would highly recommend them! They are excellent and totally professional. They do a lot of Pasadena homes, large & small. They're just wonderful to work with, I am totally pleased.
