The service provided was excellent. The electrician was very knowledgeable and fixed everything quickly.

After a logistical struggle and delay waiting for a vendor chosen by our homeowners insurance plan, we canceled that appointment and went directly to Angie's list to find another vendor. After finding an appealing review, we called J Yellen. They were immediately helpful and easy to work with. They were able to provide a technician within 24 hours who diagnosed a short in the wiring of our garbage disposal. The repair was done quickly and for a very reasonable amount.

Everything went fine, all the major issues has been taken care off. I still have to investigate some issues and call him back to check it for me.

Two of my electrical outlets in my dining room lost power. I gave a call to my Home Warranty company and they told me J. Yelen Enterprises would be the servicer. After hanging up with my home warranty company, a representative from J. Yelen called and said they could have an electrician out the next day. Due to my schedule, I elected to have them come out two days later, and they gave me a 10:00 am to 2:00 pm window.
On the day of service, the electrician, Jack, called to let me know he was on his way. He actually arrived 10 minutes before schedule, at 9:50 am. He introduced himself, was professional and kind. He asked me about the problem I was having, pulled out the two outlets, and preformed some testing. He then grabbed a ladder from his work truck and went into my attic. Before starting any work on the wiring, he called me into the attic and showed me the current state of my electrical wiring. He told me that I should get it checked out later since it was a mess. After spending about 10 minutes tracing the wiring in the attic, he found a loose connection which he fixed. The outlets then started working without a problem.
Based on how my home warranty plan is set up, I paid Jack a $60 service fee, he issued me a receipt, and he was on his way. The service call lasted about 45 minutes total from the time he walked in my door until the time he drove away.

It went great. They initially ran the wires much too close to the basketball net over the garage; seemed like a hazard to my kids. I called and they quickly came out and adjusted the wiring so that it wouldn't interfere with basketball games. They charged relatively little for moving the wires. Everything was done very professionally from start to finish.
